Mystery surrounds this 5,000 year old World Heritage Site. Visit this pre-historic South West monument and decide for yourself whether Stonehenge was designed as a place of sun worship, or as part of a huge astronomical calendar, or something different altogether! An awe-inspiring family visit, Stonehenge is a powerful reminder of the once-great Stone and Bronze Ages. Each phase of Stonehenge was a circular structure, aligned with the rising sun at the solstice. Erected between 3,000 BC and 1,600 BC, the stones were carried hundreds of miles over land and sea, while antlers and bones were used to dig the pits that hold the stones. Modern techniques in archaeology, and the series of recent digs, have helped to shape new theories about the stones, but their ultimate purpose remains a fascinating and enduring mystery.      Arriving at Stonehenge (important Information for Groups) Stonehenge now ask that coach drivers and tour leaders/guides have their correct booking reference number(s) ready on arrival at Stonehenge. This will help Site Staff ensure we keep queues to a minimum. During busy periods they will unfortunately be restricted in their flexibility for providing entry to groups turning up outside of their time slot. However, they understand that delays happen so we will of course try to accommodate your groups as best we can. Please be advised that under no circumstances must groups disembark except at the designated drop-off bay and only once your coach is fully parked. If your coach has the passenger door located on the right-hand side, please proceed directly to a coach parking bay before disembarkation.                          Note for Seniors and Students: The Staff at Stonehenge ask that any persons carrying vouchers for Student and/or Senior concessions please also carry valid identification. This is to avoid any unecessary embarrasment or misunderstanding if you are asked for proof on arrival.

Oceanário Abbott Oceanário Abbot le sumerge en el vibrante ecosistema de las ballenas beluga, los delfines de flanco blanco, las nutrias de mar y los leones de mar. También podrá observar multitud de peces e invertebrados que viven donde los flujos de agua dulce entran en el océano. Use nuestro mapa para descubrir cómo se vinculan los animales entre ellos, a sus hábitats y a nosotros mismos.  La Zona de Juego Polar Los niños tienen su propio lugar en el Acuario Shedd, 'La Zona de Juego Polar'. ¿Qué le gustaría ser? ¿Un pingüino deslizante y elegante? ¿Un explorador de aguas profundas? ¿Qué tal las dos cosas? En la Zona de Juego Polar puede disfrazarse de pingüino y fingir ser un pájaro en el Área de Juego Icy Sur. Desde allí puede dirigirse al Área de Juego Icy North para explorar las aguas del ártico en submarino. No se olvide de tocar las coloridas estrellas de mar en las piscinas. En la Zona de Juego Polar los niños aprenderán acerca de los polos opuestos- grande y pequeño, rápido y lento, superficial y profundo- e incluso sobre el norte y el sur, todo esto mientras juegan y se divierten.

Es la exposición más grande del mundo dedicada a Shakespeare y el Londres en el que vivió y trabajó. Ubicada debajo del Globe Theatre en Bankside de Londres, la exposición explora la extraordinaria historia del Globe, y trae el mundo de Shakespeare a la vida mediante una serie de pantallas interactivas y demostraciones en vivo. Los visitantes de la exposición podrán descubrir cómo se producian los espectáculos en los teatros de la época de Shakespeare, la escritura, los ensayos, la música, la danza y la performance. También tienen la oportunidad de aprender sobre las artes tradicionales y las técnicas utilizadas durante el proceso de reconstrucción del Globe; también podrá averiguar cómo se producian los efectos especiales en la época de Shakespeare, escuchar grabaciones de algunas de las actuaciones más memorables de Shak o unirse al reparto y añadir su voz a una escena grabada por actores Globe. Para la exposición también se incluye una audioguía disponibl en inglés, francés, alemán, español, italiano, ruso, mandarín y japonés. Alternativamente hay un video equivalente disponible en lenguaje de signos británico con subtítulos en inglés. Para los más pequeños hay 45 minutos de pistas de audio en inglés especialmente diseñadas para ellos y también un recorrido para toda la familia. No hay acceso al teatro durante las actuaciones matinales. Los visitantes serán llevados al sitio arqueológico cerca del Teatro Rose.

Creek Park Gate Charge AED 5 per person is charged at the entry gates to Creek Park- this charge is made by Dubai Municipality and is non-refundable & non-negotiable. There are lots to do other than Dubai Dolphinarium in the park, including Children’s City – an amazing children’s interactive museum, pony & camel rides, a cable car, BBQ areas, rides, bike hire and much more. The park is very beautiful and there are great photo opportunities down by the Creek of the city skyline.

Tower Bridge Exhibition Tower Bridge Unveils New GLASS FLOOR Across High-Level Walkways Launched in the West Walkway today, the glass floor offers visitors a never-seen-before view of London life, from 42 metres above the River Thames. Look down to spy road and pedestrian life whizzing over the Bridge while river vessels sail under it – and plan your visit in advance for the truly magical experience of the bascules being raised beneath your feet.  The glass floor measures 11 metres long by 1.8 metres wide and comprises of six panels weighing 530 kilograms each. It is made up of five thick layers and can hold the equivalent weight of an elephant and two taxis! The installation took a 20-strong team to construct it over a six week period.  The Walkways also offer stunning panoramic views of London while each of the 20 bridges featured in our popular and refreshed 'New Great Bridges of the World' display showcase a breath-taking feat of engineering. After learning about the history of the Bridge through animations and displays in the Towers, continue to the Victorian Engine Rooms for the beautifully maintained steam engines that were once used to power the bridge lifts. Over 100 years ago, the Victorians built a bridge that has become one of London's most famous landmarks. High level walkways were built to allow people to cross the Thames whilst the Bridge was lifted to let tall ships sail past - Tower Bridge Today these Walkways act as viewing galleries, giving visitors the most spectacular views across an ever changing London skyline. Walkways & Exhibition: Visitors enter Tower Bridge Exhibition via the North Tower. They are then transported by lift to the top of the Tower (47 metres above the Thames) where they have a unique opportunity to see the Bridge’s steel skeleton from within. A short film explains the history and provenance of the Bridge and then there is the chance to admire the spectacular views – from both covered Walkways. On the east Walkway there are fantastic views of the Docklands and from the west Walkway you can see the new GLA building, the Tower of London, St Paul’s, the city, the Pool of London and Big Ben and the London Eye in the distance. Interactive computerised kiosks and graphic panels explain the significance of the views to visitors, as well as providing more information on the history and building of the Bridge. The interactive material and graphic panels are written in seven languages and an audio loop for the hard of hearing is also in place for the video show. There is another film to view in the South Tower before descending for the short walk to the historical Engine Rooms, included in your ticket price. Victorian Engine Rooms: These provide a fascinating insight into late 19th century engineering. Installed for the completion of Tower Bridge in 1894, these huge, and beautifully maintained, coal-driven engines were used to power the thousands of bascule Bridge lifts performed until 1976. Although lifts are now operated by electricity, the original steam engines are still in place. The Engine Rooms give visitors a chance to experiment with models demonstrating the technology behind the Bridge. There are also some amazing photographs of  Tower BridgeTthroughout its lifetime – including a revealing picture of the heavy steel structure of the Bridge as the stone cladding was installed over it.
