Jurassic Seas – Explore the primeval times
Discover a spectacular skeleton of a plesiosaur and some of the world’s best marine fossils from extinct primeval creatures. You are exploring still living creatures like horse shoe crabs, nautilus and other primeval dwellers. Find out how the sea dinosaurs lived with our interactive video wall.

Discover the city as you pedal along on one of our comfortable bikes with our friendly guide who will tell you about the historic details, the fascinating experiences of everyday life in the city and its iconic landmarks and sights on this easy-going route.
Go on a relaxing cycle tour of Barcelona and visit unique cultural sights such as the Museu d’Art Contemporani, in the Raval neighbourhood, which has its own Rambla with its own unique inhabitant, Botero’s ‘Cat’. The guide will tell you some curious anecdotes about the neighbourhood and will then take you to the plaça Reial, the plaça Sant Jaume, the charming plaça de San Felipe Neri, the majestic Cathedral, the Roman walls and the plaça del Rei, among many other landmark sights.
Next, you’ll head down to the seafront and beaches where you’ll be able to stop, time permitting. You’ll visit the old harbour, the Port Vell, the Barceloneta district, the Olympic Marina and, on the way back, you’ll cycle through the Parc de la Ciutadella and stop at the Sagrada Família.
And during the hot summer nights you’ll also be able to go on one of our night-time tours! Exploring the city by bike is a wonderful way to experience Barcelona day or night.
After leaving your resort and meeting your guides we'll start the climb up to the Soria reservoir. There'll be great views of the impressive volcanic landscapes on the way and once there we'll stop for a traditional breakfast (not included) consisting of local specialities, freshly-squeezed papaya juice and home-made bread.
Then it's time to go off road again – we'll speed down dirt tracks raising clouds of dust on the way. You'll see the local cave dwellings, plantations of tropical fruit and more otherworldly rock formations. After a drive through a fragrant pine forest we'll stop at the remote settlement of Tunte for lunch in a traditional restaurant. We'll feast on barbecued chicken, a selection of salads and tiny local potatoes with spicy mojo salsa. Sangria and soft drinks are also included in the price. Then the brave hearted can go on a camel ride in Fataga, Berber-style, for around 30 minutes.
In the afternoon we'll continue through our trek through some of the island's many nature reserves making plenty of photo stops for photos before returning to the resort in the late afternoon. This action-packed 4x4 adventure has to be best way to discover of the hidden charms of this beautiful island.
