The Ultimate Experience for Space Enthusiasts - DIne with an Astronaut at Kennedy Space Center. Upon arrival at the main visitor center complex, it's lunch time, and your chance to sit down to a buffet lunch and presentation from an astronaut – a great opportunity for photos and autographs.  Following launch it is time to ride the DISCOVER KSC Bus Tour. This takes you close by the launch pads, it is a two hour fully guided bus tour within Kennedy and if you really want to experience Kennedy yet don't necessarily wish to walk around and read the exhibits yourself then this is your opportunity. The tours shows you areas not seen on the regular bus tours. The bus tour ends at the Saturn V Center where guests get to walk under the Saturn V rocket and touch a peice of moon rock. This is a compact day as you have alot to do, but if you really want to see the best that Kennedy has to offer then this is the day you should book!

From Edinburgh you will travel west, passing the imposing Stirling Castle, high on its volcanic rock, and on to a visit at Doune Castle* (which featured in the cult movie ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’). From there journey into the Highlands, past Loch Lubnaig and up through impressive Glen Ogle, a steep glen that stretches for 7 miles, stopping nearby for lunch and beautiful views of the surrounding scenery.  After lunch venture further into the Highlands, stopping to view one of the most photographed castles in Scotland, Kilchurn Castle, nestled on the banks of beautiful Loch Awe and stunningly framed by the surrounding mountains. You will then journey to Inveraray, a small quaint town built in the mid-18th century on the shore of Loch Fyne.  Here we have time to explore the town and pick up some Highland souvenirs or pay an optional visit to Inveraray Castle*, the historic home of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell, which is set in large beautiful gardens overlooking Loch Fyne.  You then start your homeward journey, driving over the Arrochar Alps, an attractive range of mountains, with a brief pause near the top of the Rest and Be Thankful Pass. A little later we reach enchanting Loch Lomond, where you can stop at the pretty lochside village of Luss before returning to Edinburgh.  *OPTIONAL EXTRA. Why should I buy an Overseas Visitor Pass? We don’t expect you to visit that many attractions. The Overseas Visitor Pass is incredible value for money and you can start making savings from as few as two or three visits! How much will I save? You will realise what great value the pass is as soon as you make your first visit. The Pass is available for overseas visitors only. Visitors may be asked for proof of overseas residency when visiting a property. The Pass is available to groups and individuals. Groups should contact the first property they are planning to visit with a list of names of the group's members, so that we can prepare the passcards and make sure we have enough guidebooks on site. Do children need their own Pass? The family pass is valid for two adults and up to four other family members under the age of 19 living at the same address. Other than the family pass, there is no reduced child pass. Children under the age of five are admitted free of charge to our attractions, and children up to the age of 15 qualify for reduced entrance fees. For how long is the Overseas Visitor Pass valid? The English Heritage Overseas Visitor Pass is valid for a period of either 9 or 16 consecutive days.  How is my Overseas Visitor Pass activated? The Pass will be validated at the first property you visit and it can then be used for the following consecutive 9 or 16 days. When are English Heritage properties open? Many properties open daily from 10.00 in summer. Nearly all are closed 24-26 December and 1 January. All sites have reduced opening times during the winter months (October to March). The exact opening times are listed on our website as well as in the Members’ and Visitors’ Handbook, which is included free of charge with the Pass. What documents do I need to take with me to collect the Overseas Visitor Pass? You need to print out your booking confirmation (voucher), and take this with the credit card used to make the booking. You must also have proof of identity with you in the form of a passport, identity card or driver’s license to authenticate that you are the rightful owner of the voucher and as proof of overseas residency. This can be a photocopy. What happens if my Pass is lost or stolen? The Pass is not transferable, refundable or replaceable when lost or stolen.

El velero de madera sale por la tarde desde el viejo puerto de Fira y de dirige hacia la isla volcánica de Nea Kameni, que se encuentra solo a 10 minutos navegando.  La embarcación permanecerá allí durante 1:15h, la cual cosa le dará un montón de tiempo para caminar por los cráteres y sacar fotos. Vale la pena llegar a la cima y ver los humos que expulsa y el olor intenso a azufre. La siguiente parada se realizará en la isla de Palaia Kameni, donde están situadas las aguas termales. El barco anclará a pocos metros de la bahía de Agios Nikolaos, donde tendrá 30 minutos para darse un baño: podrá nadar a una distancia de 30 metros en los famosos baños de barro de Palaia Kameni, conocidos por sus efectos beneficiosos sobre la piel y diversas enfermedades. La temperatura del agua es de 30 - 35ºC, constantemente mezclada con agua de mar. A continuación, se realizará otra parada en la isla de Thirasia, donde tendrá 2 horas de tiempo libre para nadar en las aguas cristalinas de Korfos o degustar platos típicos de la zona en una de las tabernas más auténticas. Tendrá tiempo para pasear, dar un paseo en burro a los pueblos más cercanos... ¡Realmente, las vistas desde Santorini valen la pena! La excursión llega a su fin cuando se llega a Oía. Durante el paseo en barco hacia el puerto de Oía, navegará debajo los acantilados volcánicos y tendrá la oportunidad de sacar fantásticas fotos. Una vez llegue al puerto, desembarcará y podrá subir las 257 escaleras o subir en burro hasta el autobús que le llevará al pueblo de Oía. Tendrá tiempo libre para caminar por las calles estrechas, sacar fotos, memorizar la belleza del lugar contemplar el famoso atardecer. Cuando todo este termine, el autobús le llevará de regreso a la plaza principal de Fira.
