Mystery surrounds this 5,000 year old World Heritage Site. Visit this pre-historic South West monument and decide for yourself whether Stonehenge was designed as a place of sun worship, or as part of a huge astronomical calendar, or something different altogether! An awe-inspiring family visit, Stonehenge is a powerful reminder of the once-great Stone and Bronze Ages. Each phase of Stonehenge was a circular structure, aligned with the rising sun at the solstice. Erected between 3,000 BC and 1,600 BC, the stones were carried hundreds of miles over land and sea, while antlers and bones were used to dig the pits that hold the stones. Modern techniques in archaeology, and the series of recent digs, have helped to shape new theories about the stones, but their ultimate purpose remains a fascinating and enduring mystery.      Arriving at Stonehenge (important Information for Groups) Stonehenge now ask that coach drivers and tour leaders/guides have their correct booking reference number(s) ready on arrival at Stonehenge. This will help Site Staff ensure we keep queues to a minimum. During busy periods they will unfortunately be restricted in their flexibility for providing entry to groups turning up outside of their time slot. However, they understand that delays happen so we will of course try to accommodate your groups as best we can. Please be advised that under no circumstances must groups disembark except at the designated drop-off bay and only once your coach is fully parked. If your coach has the passenger door located on the right-hand side, please proceed directly to a coach parking bay before disembarkation.                          Note for Seniors and Students: The Staff at Stonehenge ask that any persons carrying vouchers for Student and/or Senior concessions please also carry valid identification. This is to avoid any unecessary embarrasment or misunderstanding if you are asked for proof on arrival.

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC) is a must see destination in Central Florida.  Less than an hour east of Orlando, KSCVC provides a mixture of the past and the future, with rich historical references in each of the exhibits, coupled with a clear vision into the future, bolstered by the amazing learning from both the International Space Station and the Hubble telescope photos.  Admission to KSCVC includes all of the exhibits, attractions, the IMAX theatre tickets and a very comprehensive bus tour to the Apollo/Saturn V Center.  Admission also includes entrance to the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, which for history and science buffs is where you will want to start your day! There is a new exhibit called Science on a Sphere. The U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame has a wide range of hand-on exhibits for kids and is also the home of the Astronaut Training Experience (known as ATX).

The day begins with a hotel pick-up between 06:15 and 07:00. Heading east across the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge offers great views of the San Francisco skyline, Alcatraz Island, Fisherman's Wharf, and the Golden Gate Bridge. En Route to the park we cross through the Central Valley, where we will stop at a fruit stand for some local produce. Famous for its rich volcanic soil, the Central Valley is the largest agricultural region in the United States. The section we drive through is best known for specialty fruits and nuts such as almonds, walnuts, cherries, and strawberries. After this quick rest stop, we enter the rolling foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Continuing into the mountains brings us to California gold country and the gold rush town of Groveland before we wind our way into Yosemite National Park. Maps in hand, we begin with a one and a half hour in-coach narrated tour of Yosemite's glaciated valley. You will see famous waterfalls and rock formations including Yosemite Falls - the tallest waterfall in North America - El Capitan, Half Dome, Bridalveil Falls, Sentinel Dome, and much more. During the tour you will see Yosemite Valley from a number of great vantage points, the best of which is perhaps Inspiration Point. At 4,500 feet above sea level, this viewpoint gives you a commanding view east up the valley. Yosemite is a mecca for rock climbers, and the sight of people climbing El Capitan's 3,200 ft. (1000m) sheer rock face is quite amazing. Because of our small group size, we can incorporate multiple photo stops into our tour so you can better enjoy your time in the park. After the tour, we stop for the afternoon near the base of Yosemite Falls, where there are a variety of options for lunch (not included). After eating, you will have 3-4 hours of free time to explore the valley as you choose. You can walk to the base of Yosemite Falls, check out the visitor center, visit the Ansel Adams Gallery, stop in at the Ahwahnee Hotel, rent a cruiser bike, or hike some of the trails that originate from the valley. Although you could spend three weeks in Yosemite, the three hours you get on your own is enough time to understand why Yosemite is one of America's most popular national parks. Regrouping again in the late afternoon, we head for San Francisco, stopping for a short break before arriving back in the city and dropping you at your lodging between 8:30 and 9:00pm. Watch ​ California sea lions​ ​ dart through the water and limber Northern fur seals​ ​ frolic in this beautiful open­air exhibit space, and find out about the challenges marine mammals face in the wild! ​ THE LARGEST SHARK AND RAY TOUCH TANK ON THE EAST COAST The Trust Family Foundation Shark and Ray Touch Tank features sharks and rays in a mangroved - themed tank surrounded by shallow edges and viewing windows, allowing visitors to experience a close encounter with these animals. Visitors to this exhibit can reach out and gently touch the backs of cownose rays. Atlantic rays and sharks as they swim gracefully through the crystal-clear water. The exhibit presents these incredible species in a way that highlights their importance in a healthy ocean ecosystem. It also emphasizes the valued of conserving essential coastal habitats, such as mangroves and lagoons. ATLANTIC HARBOR SEALS Visitors can enjoy the Atlantic harbor seals in their exhibit on the Aquarium plaza before buying admission tickets. Watch the seals swim, play and rest. Learn more about them and see some expert behaviors as they work with trainers during free training sessions throughout the day. BLUE PLANET ACTION CENTER This exhibit is part of the Aquarium’s recent top­-to-bottom, 21st century transformation. The exhibit area presents the serious challenges facing the oceans and showcases the Aquarium's global leadership in searching for solutions with a combination of interactive displays, interpretive presentations and small live animal exhibits. FEATURED EXHIBITS Science of Sharks Dive deep into the Science of Sharks with the newest exhibit at the New England Aquarium. Get up close to some small but mighty shark species from around the world. Hands-on activities illuminate the remarkable adaptations that give them an edge in the water, while the shark and ray touch tank lets you see — and feel! — these adaptations in action.
