You may have seen New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art before, but you've never seen it like this.  Travel through 6,000 years and across the globe in just a few hours, to gain a greater understanding of the length and breadth of this world-class collection.  In small groups of 15 people or fewer, you’ll delve into the history and art of the Met, seeing works come to life through the stories of your expert guide. We start our tour in the ancient world, with a visit to Ancient Egyptian tomb models.  Incredibly well preserved, these pieces were a more important discovery than they seem, as they offered pictorial insight into what life in Ancient Egypt was like. This insight continues at the incredible Temple of Dendur, fully intact and surreally displayed inside a naturally lit atrium, nestled in Central Park.  Our world tour returns to New York for stained glass by Tiffany and then hops over to Britain to size up the armor of notorious King Henry VIII.  We then head east for the Antioch Chalice, believed by some to be the Holy Grail itself, the cup from which Jesus drank on the night he was betrayed.  Believe the story?  You’ll have time to debate its merits with your expert guide.  For historians our next few stops are a true delight – the Greek and Roman wing contain elegant statues, imperial Roman busts, and intact frescos buried along with those at Pompeii. Off to exotic Oceania to see boldly carved Bisj poles from Papua New Guinea, for which a Rockefeller gave his life.  We’ll then move to the second floor to admire Water Lilies by Monet, a Thinker by Rodin, and the swirling strokes of van Gogh. It’s break time inside the museum or atop the rooftop garden (May-October only, weather permitting) for verdant vistas of Central Park.  If you’ve booked the extended version, the tour continues to the Golden Age of Dutch painting, perusing portraits by Rembrandt and marveling at the virtuosity of Vermeer.  After a brief passage through Italy, it’s off to Spain to see El Greco and to  France for Jacques-Louis David’s famous Death of Socrates.  A little scandal is in store, as your guide gives the inside story of John Singer Sargent’s infamous Madame X.   You’ll then be dwarfed by the immense iconic Washington Crossing the Delaware – one of the most recognized paintings in the United States.  Besides from what’s listed here, you’ll see little surprises and quirks of the collection as you tour.  Our small group and expert guides will allow you to ask questions, be engaged, and take the most from your Met experience! ITINERARY: Day 1: HCM – My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (L) At 8:00, leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy& observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages. Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in the hotel Free time to visit bustling Can Tho market & dinner at your own arrangement. Day 2: Phong Dien – Cai Rang (B-L) Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river (Bassac River), then proceed to visit CaiRăng floating market (& Phong Dien is optional), which are the liveliest in the whole religion. Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made. Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to cross a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard garden. Stop for lunch. Back to HCM city. The looming mountain of Tibidabo is visible from nearly the entire city of Barcelona. Reaching nearly 1700 feet high, Tibidabo Mountain Barcelona is the tallest peak of the Serra de Collserola. Besides being quite the sight from within Barcelona, this mountain is also a popular place for travelers to visit who are seeking sweeping views of the city and coastline. Another attraction on the mountain is the Tibidabo Amusement Park. Built in 1889, this amusement park has the feeling of stepping back in time. If you’re tired of visiting the cathedrals and museums of Barcelona, escape the bustle of the city for an adventure up Tibidabo. The Tibidabo Amusement Park is a delight for families, couples, and groups. Over the years, the park has retained many of its original rides, many dating from the early twentieth century. On 6 levels you will find different attractions including: roller coaster, log flume, bumper cars, carousel, etc. There is a 4D cinema in 'Dididado' for the little ones and a 'horror house' for the older children. This show is not for the faint hearted and although in Spanish it is scary fun! On a hot sunny day you will enjoy a great day on top of the world at Tibidabo Amusement Park. Good old fashioned fun and an adventure to get there! Getting to the rides at the top of Tibidabo Mountain Barcelona is half the fun of this amusement park. One of the ways to reach the park is the Tibidabo tram called Tramvia Blau. This tram was first built in 1901, and both kids and adults alike will love its historic charm. The tram brings visitors halfway up the mountain. To continue on to the amusement park, it is necessary to climb aboard the funicular. A ride on the funicular will reveal spectacular views of Barcelona and the chance to the visit the church at the very summit of the mountain. Maybe it's not the easiest way to go to Tibidabo, but sure it's the most charming!

Declarado Monumento Nacional en 1917, el enorme ejemplar de drago que encontramos en Icod de los Vinos mide 18 metros y su perímetro alcanza los 20 metros en la base del tronco. En su parque adyacente inaugurado en 1996 se exhiben distintas especies vegetales endémicas de la isla como cardones, tabaibas, palmeras o tilos.  Situada en las faldas del Teide, La Orotava ocupa buena parte del valle de mismo nombre en el norte de la isla. Gran parte del Parque Nacional del Teide –,montaña y sitio de culto aborigen–, pertenece a su municipio, lo que lo convierte en el de mayor altitud de España. Entre los lugares de interés que se pueden visitar en esta ciudad destacan la Iglesia de la Concepción (declarada Monumento Nacional), La Casa de los Balcones –,vivienda típica canaria del siglo XVII–, o el Liceo de Taoro.  Candelaria es la sede de la Virgen de Candelaria, patrona de Canarias, distinguido lugar sagrado y de peregrinaje del país situado al sureste de la isla. Sus fiestas patronales tienen lugar el 15 de agosto y se desarrollan en torno a la Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria (1959), Bien de Interés Cultural y uno de los principales templos del archipiélago. Junto a la basílica, la Plaza de la Patrona de Canarias alberga las estatuas de bronce de los nueve menceyes que gobernaron los nueve menceyatos o reinos prehistóricos guanches de Tenerife justo antes de la conquista.  Edad de los niños: de 2 a 11 años.
