You will set off from Edinburgh with views of the iconic Forth Rail Bridge as we cross the Firth of Forth entering into the ancient “Kingdom of Fife”. Here you can pause for a photo stop at the historic village of Aberdour, before continuing into the East Neuk of Fife. You will then travel through the picturesque villages of St. Monans and Pittenween, once thriving fishing centres which were made prosperous by trade with the continent, before stopping in the town of Anstruther, home of the Scottish Fisheries Museum. Leaving Anstruther, journey through Crail and then arrive in the beautiful medieval town of St. Andrews in time for lunch. Here you can enjoy a walk around the town which is famous as the home of golf and has the best known golf course in the world. It also has a pretty cathedral and castle, now both ruined, and is home to Scotland’s oldest university - where Prince William met Kate. You will have approximately three hours of free time to explore its medieval buildings and wonderful cobbled streets, as well as having time for lunch. Spot the sun breakthrough on the horizon as the city kicks into gear. 5 Things you need to know before your climb Health & Safety Your health and safety is important: If you are pregnant or have any pre-existing health conditions you may need to provide a doctor’s Certificate of Fitness note before you climb. You must have a blood-alcohol reading below 0.05 to climb (the same as if you are driving). You will be asked to complete a BridgeClimb Declaration Form before your Climb. Please be honest about your health so we can ensure your wellbeing is not at risk. All discussions will be confidential. Preparations How should you prepare for your Climb: Ensure that you have eaten before your Climb and you’re well-hydrated – the experience can last up to 3 ½ hours. Wear comfortable, enclosed rubber-soled shoes such as running, sport or hiking shoes and don’t forget your sunglasses. It is recommend to wear comfortable clothing. You will be equipped with everything else you need for your Climb! Ensure you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled Climb time to allow enough time to check in. Personal Belongings All your personal belongings can be stored in lockers, including cameras: there are FREE secure lockers for you to keep your personal belongings in, including phones, cameras and GoPros. The Climb Leaders will capture photos of you during your Climb. For safety and security reasons, cameras, video technology and mobile devices are prohibited on the Climb. Restrictions You must be 8 years old and 1.2 metres in height, or taller: Children aged 8 to 15 must be accompanied by and are the responsibility of an adult, with a maximum of three children per adult. Weather Conditions Climbs operate in all weather conditions: You will equipped with all the gear you need to keep you dry, but remember to bring your own shoes, which should be enclosed, like running shoes. In case of extreme weather conditions like electrical storms or during times of extremely high wind, Climbs may be postponed.

What about Children’s ages? Please note, the full day excursion covers 35 km. For this reason we have put a minimum age restriction of 10yrs old. Through our experience we found that the day was just too long for the under 10's and therefore the half day excursion would be more appropriate for children under 10. Please provide the exact age of your children at the last step of the booking. It's required to arrange the right bikes.

The Terradas family commissioned Josep Puig i Cadafalch to create this building with spectacular results. The Casa de les Punxes broke with all architectural conventions. This majestic mansion, built in 1905, is reminiscent of a medieval castle and reveals the influences of different architectural movements, countless technical innovations and a plethora of decorative elements of great artistic value, including stained glass, wrought iron, ceramics and sculptures. This interactive, multisensory tour will take you deep into the history and spirit of the house; you'll find out about its designer, the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, and relive the legend of Saint George, which is one of the main leitmotifs of modernisme and a recurrent presence in the Casa de les Punxes. The tour will take you to the enigmatic rooftop where you'll be able to enjoy amazing views of the city. Discover this unique house, its designer and the legend that brings them together.
