Die getrennte Gärung der drei Rebsorten im Stahltank dauerte zwei Wochen bei gleichmässiger Temperatur. Die Assemblage erfolgte im Frühling nach der Ernte. Danach lagerte der Wein 18 Monate im Barrique und 6 Monate auf der Flasche. Die Langlebigkeit und Komplexität des Nebbiolo vereint sich in diesem Wein mit der Eleganz und Geschmeidigkeit des Merlot und Cabernet Sauvignon. Dieser trockene Rotwein besitzt ein feines, reintöniges Bouquet, vollgepackt mit roten Beeren, einen elegant fruchtigen Geschmack und einen kräftigen Körper mit einem fruchtbetonten Finish. Diese Cuvee passt während der nächsten 5-7 Jahre hervorragend zu edlem Wildgeflügel wie Fasan oder Perlhuhn.

Ein ausgezeichneter, samtiger Wein mit feinen tannien und einem langen Abgang. Hier finden sich wundervolle Aromen von roten Kirschen, schwarzen und roten Beerennoten, Johannisbeeren, Bleistiftspitze, hellen Tabak und zarte Würznoten. Passt zu Entrecote mit geschmorten Steinpilzen oder Lammschulter mir Rosmarin-Kartoffeln.

The striking redesign of the distillery is in part the inspiration of the acclaimed London designers at Heatherwick Studio. The careful renovation included a number of beautiful Victorian and Georgian buildings restored to their former glory. The site has been awarded the highly prestigious BREEAM (Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method) Award for Sustainable Industrial Design.
