Leaving Glasgow you will head north-west through the rugged Highlands of Scotland until you reach Inveraray, a quaint town built in the mid-18th century on the shores of Loch Fyne. Here you can choose to visit Inveraray Castle* the historic home of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell, nestled in large beautiful gardens overlooking Loch Fyne. Alternatively, explore the town’s white-washed Georgian houses, wide streets and breathtaking views across the loch.  Your route climbs further north into the Highlands through stunning scenery marked by several dramatic castles and beautiful lochs. You'll pause to admire Kilchurn Castle, one of Scotland’s most photographed castles, nestled on the banks of Loch Awe and beautifully framed by mountains.  Next you will make a stop for lunch in the picturesque harbour town of Oban, ‘Gateway to the Isles’, with free time to explore its horseshoe bay and see MacCaig’s Folly, an iconic 19th century tower reminiscent of the Colosseum in Rome.  After free time exploring, we travel onwards past the 15th century Castle Stalker, which is set on a small island on Loch Laich, before reaching Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most haunting glens and site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan.  The return journey will take you over the dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount before you make the final stop at the pretty conservation village of Luss on the ‘Bonnie, Bonnie Banks’ of Loch Lomond. Here you can feel free to walk along the shore or admire the village before returning to Glasgow.  *OPTIONAL EXTRA. After departure you can select from a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and fully enjoy the glowing panorama of Prague Castle with St. Vitus Cathedral. You can learn about Prague's sights you pass by in the printed guide with a route map. During the cruise you will experience the mysterious atmosphere of the Rudolfinum by night. You will pass under Charles Bridge and thanks to the glass roof you will see its 600-year-old stone pillars in detail. The cruise will continue past Kampa Island to the old river locks. There you can see the illuminated National Theatre on the other side of the river. When you enter the river locks, you can count how many penguins are there – at night it will be lit up. Here you will see the famous Dancing House on the other side of the locks. After reaching the Vyšehrad cliff, where you will fully appreciate the panoramic view through the glass roof, the boat turns and heads back. On the way to the dock you will pass by the Straka Academy, the Civic Swimming Pool and Prague Metronome above your head. At the end of the cruise you can enjoy the magnificent view of Prague's panorama glowing in the night once again before you land.
