Ein tief glänzendes Purpurrot erzeugt in der Nase ein wunderschön geöffnetes Bouquet, dominiert von frischen fruchtigen Aromen nach schwarzen Johannisbeeren, Kirschen, dunkle Pflaumen, elegant unterlegt mit einem Hauch von Blüten und Gewürzen. Am Gaumen ist er rund und saftig mit der dunklen Frucht des Bouquets, das sanfte, dichte Tannin gibt dem Wein Struktur, die lebendige Säure unterstreicht seine natürliche Frische und macht ihn schon heute sehr angenehm zugänglich. Passt zu gegrilltem Fleisch, gebratener Taube, Ente mit geschmorter Paprika oder Kalbsbraten mit Pilzen, auch zu asiatischen Rindercurrys mit Reis.
