STADIUM TOURS - BEHIND THE SCENES Take a look behind the scenes at Old Trafford. North Stand: Prepare yourself for a breathtaking look inside Old Trafford. Feel the passion as you enter centre stage at the Theatre of Dreams. Dugout: Pace down the old players' tunnel like the stars of matches gone by. Imagine standing next to the manager, and and discover where Sir Alex Ferguson used to put his gum. Players’ Tunnel: You've been around the Museum interacting with the exhibits, now it's time to see United in the flesh. Feel what it's like to stand in the players' tunnel, let your imagination run free as you look over the perfect green pitch - just two of the exciting prospects facing you on the Manchester United Tour. Dressing Room: Sit at the peg of your favourite player and imagine what it would be like to be a part of the team talk. MUSEUM - THE MANCHESTER UNITED EXPERIENCE Young or old, Manchester United fan or not, the Museum and Tour Centre is the place to be for a fun-packed day out. Opened by football legend Pele, the museum is an in-depth and interactive guide through the club’s history, with something for everyone to enjoy. The Trophy Room: View the vast array of honours and trophies won since 1908 when the Reds were crowned First Division Football League Champions. Legends: Charlton, Law, Best and Cantona; United’s history is full of football greats. This section is a match-winning hall of fame dedicated to United Legends. Munich: Time stands still as you hear the tragic news report that shocked the world. Newspaper articles, photographs and personal items from the Busby Babes make a moving reminder of that fateful day, 6 February 1958. The Treble Exhibition: Experience the drama as United’s glorious 1998-99 Treble-winning season unfolds. Relive the climax as an enthralling ten days saw Sir Alex’s side beat Arsenal to the Premiership title, lift the FA Cup and enjoy an unforgettable night in the Nou Camp... Kit: From Sandy Turnbull’s shirt in United’s first FA Cup success in 1909 to Brian Kidd’s 1968 European Cup final strip, see how the style, colours and material have changed over the years. Interact with the Man-U-Net: Imagine an electronic archive where you can find the details of any first team player in any competitive match since Manchester United began. Private Viewing of Stonehenge Most visitors to Stonehenge are not allowed direct access to the stones. On this special day trip from London, you'll be invited to enter the stone circle itself, and stand beside the mysterious rocks towering above you. Your guide will unlock the secrets of this ancient World Heritage site. Enjoy the peace, away from the crowds, as you experience Stonehenge at its atmospheric best at sunrise. Oxford The colleges in Oxford date back to the 13th century and among its famous students were Bill Clinton, C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien and Lewis Carroll. We take you on a fascinating walking tour, which includes visiting the Great Hall in Christ Church, where many scenes from Harry Potter were filmed. We'll also see the Bodleian Library and the picture perfect college courtyards for which Oxford is famous. Windsor Castle Our day continues with a visit to Windsor Castle, the largest and oldest occupied Castle in the world, and home of the Royal Family for 900 years. Its proud, strong walls dominate the delightful town that has grown around the castle over the years. You'll see the lavishly decorated State Apartments containing priceless furniture in glorious colours and St George's Chapel, home to the 14th Century Order of the Royal Garter, our senior chivalric order. Visitors can still enjoy the extensive Castle Precincts, St George's Chapel (except on Sundays and certain other dates - please see below), Queen Mary's Dolls' House and the exhibition in the Drawings Gallery. St. George's Chapel is open daily but closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. As a working royal palace, the Castle is used frequently by The Queen for State ceremonies and official entertaining and opening arrangements may change with no notice.
Your Journey: Departing from Queenstown, a knowledgeable driver will provide an informative commentary on the points of interest along one of the world’s most picturesque drives – The Milford Road. Stop for some great photo opportunities along the way, before enjoying a two hour cruise aboard one of our specially designed small boats in Milford Sound. Sit back and relax as you cruise the length of the 16km fiord, out past St Annes Point Lighthouse, while skipper highlights points of interest along the way, including the mighty Lady Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls. Keep an eye out for local wildlife that can be found in the fiord, with New Zealand fur seals and dolphins spotted regularly, while occasionally the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin makes an appearance when in season. During the return journey we will have a brief refreshment break in the lakeside town of Te Anau. Once back on board you can sit back, relax and enjoy a NZ made movie on the in-coach DVD system. Take to the skies to see Brighton and the beautiful South Coast as you have never seen them before. In a fully enclosed futuristic glass pod, enjoy views across Brighton, the South Downs, Sussex coastline and, on the clearest days, all the way to Beachy Head. Enjoy a drink at the Nyetimber Sky Bar, one of the most unique bars in the UK, serving a range of local drinks including Nyetimber, an award-winning sparkling wine. Visit the beach building for the free ‘British Airways i360: How it Was Built’ exhibition, enjoy a meal at West Beach Bar & Kitchen or browse the BAi360 shop for a range of gifts and souvenirs, many created by local Brighton artists. During the summer months customers enter the pod from the open air boarding deck, overlooking the beach and the West Pier. Please note that the weather on the seafront can be changeable and, as the boarding deck is outdoors, customers should be prepared with wind or rain proof clothing. Pod flights depart every 30 minutes and each flight lasts approximately 25 minutes (including boarding and disembarking). Afternoon Tea Enjoy sea-views whilst indulging in a delicious spread of sweet and savoury treats at the West Beach Bar & Kitchen. (situated in the BAi360 beach building) Each Afternoon Tea serves four finger sandwiches, two scones (one fruit and one plain) and an assortment of freshly made mini patisseries. You also receive a bottomless hot drink and can choose from a selection of Camellia’s teas, coffee or hot chocolate. Sandwich fillings are inspired by the seasons, and options include ham hock and wholegrain mustard, cheddar cheese and homemade chutney, free range egg mayo and even locally sourced smoked salmon and cream cheese. Available Monday – Sunday, with pod flights between 14:30 – 17:00. Limited availability, pre-booking is recommended.
