Here, you’ll find the Kennedy gravesite and witness the Changing of the Guards at the somber Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  On this tour loop, you’ll also cross Arlington Memorial Bridge and see the Pentagon. The enormous headquarters for the Department of Defense is like a city in itself with 23,000 employees. Washington National Cathedral & Georgetown Loop (Yellow Loop): The second largest cathedral in the United States is found in the District’s Northwest quadrant. Washington National Cathedral is a spiritual hub open to all and a stunning work of Gothic architecture featuring stained glass, ornate carvings and vaulted ceilings. Your tour continues in Georgetown, a picturesque neighborhood home to many colorful row houses and renowned Georgetown University. M Street, which runs through the neighborhood, is a mecca for shopping, dining, and nightlife. You can also hop off at Georgetown Waterfront Park to stroll along the promenade and rent a canoe or kayak! FAQ How long do I have to use my pass? You’ll have one day to use your pass, starting when you redeem your voucher at the CitySights DC Ticket Desk at Union Station in Washington, DC. What does unlimited hop-on, hop-off access mean? Can I get off anywhere?  With unlimited hop-on, hop-off access you can hop off the bus at any of the designated tour stops along the route, spend time walking around or exploring attractions, and get back on the bus at the same stop or any of the other designated stops listed on our map. You can do this an unlimited number of times within the specified hours for each tour. View tour stops and route map here.  You can not hop off at locations other than our designated hop-on, hop-off tour stops.  Do I need to specify a date of travel?  No. When you place your order, you will have to choose the day you believe you are going to use the voucher. However, we do understand that plans change so you have one year from the date of purchase to begin using your pass. After one year, it will expire. Please note, some of our partner attractions do require reservations – please refer to the tour details for more information.  Can I use my voucher to board the bus?  No. You must redeem your voucher at the Citysights DC Tickets Desk - Union Station Main Lobby, 50 Massachusetts Avenue, NE Washington, DC 20002. Where can I start the tour?  After redeeming your voucher at Union Station, you may use your ticket(s) to board a bus and start your tour at any of the hop-on, hop-off stops. The double-decker buses run every 30 minutes (Red Loop), every hour (Purple Loop) and every 2 hours (Yellow Loop). Please be advised that times can vary due to traffic conditions. There are 6 color coded course that get progressively more challenging as you go:
Green = Minimum Elevation/Minimum Skill
Blue = Medium Elevation/ Medium Skill
Silver = Advanced Elevation/Medium Skill
Red = Advanced Elevation/Advanced Skill
Tickets and Height Requirement Notes Kids 7-11 Children on these courses are required to be able to reach the tips of their fingers to a height of 4’7″ (140cm) while keeping their feet flat on the ground Junior 9  Height Requirement: Adventurers on the Junior Course are required to be able to reach the tips of their fingers to a height of 5’9″ (175cm) while keeping their feet flat on the ground. Adult 12  Height Requirement: Adult Course adventure seekers are required to be able to reach the tips of their fingers to a height of 5’11” (180cm) while keeping their feet flat on the ground (An adult 18 must accompany any minors 12-14 on the Adult courses) What To Wear Long hair MUST be tied back so as not to get caught on any equipment.  Sturdy closed-toed sport sandals/shoes/boots are required and should be worn securely.  NO jewelry. Necklaces/bracelets can get caught in equipment.  Avoid loose clothing. Fitted apparel, worn tight to the body is best to climb. Note: Guests not wearing the appropriate clothing may be refused access to activities to ensure that safety guidelines are met.   DON’T FORGET WAIVERS: Please fill out your waiver so you can experience the thrill of our tree top adventure. All Climbers must have signed waiver. UNDER 18: Waiver must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.  SAFETY EQUIPMENT- Climbers must have a 44 inch waist or smaller to be able to use our required safety equipment. La función principal de la sara era actuar como un lugar de encuentro para recoger información sobre la guerra. The War Cabinet Room Este fue el santuario interior del Gobierno Británico, la sala utilizada para las reuniones del Primer Ministro, un grupo selecto de ministros y consejeros de su gabinete de guerra y sus Jefes de Estado Mayor. En el lugar se llevaron a cabo 115 reuniones del gabinete de guerra y las decisiones más trascendentales se tomaron en esta sala. Los reposabrazos rascados del asiento en el que se sentó Churchill dan testimonio de las tensiones de esas reuniones cruciales en momentos críticos de la guerra. Churchill's Room A pesar de las comodidades de su habitación en las Cabinet War Rooms, a Winston Churchill no le gustaba dormir allí. Solo la utilizaba para visitas y negocios si se veía obligado a esconderse. También realizó cuatro de sus discursos durante la guerra allí, incluyendo el discurso del 11 de Setiembre de 1940, advirtiendo de los planes de Hitler para librar una guerra contra el Reino Unido.
