The State Rooms Buckingham Palace serves as both the office and London residence of Her Majesty The Queen, as well as the administrative headquarters of the Royal Household. It is one of the few working royal palaces remaining in the world today. Today the Buckingham Palace State Rooms are used extensively by Her Majesty The Queen and Members of the Royal Family to receive and entertain their guests on State, ceremonial and official occasions. Changing of the Guard The Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place at 11:30 daily from April until the end of July and on alternate days for the rest of the year, weather permitting. The new guards arrive at the forecourt of the Palace at 11:30 from Wellington Barracks. The journey takes about 5 minutes and the soldiers are accompanied by a band. The ceremony is conducted on the Palace forecourt and takes approximately forty minutes to complete. Wheelchairs are able to visit the 1st and 2nd levels of the Tower, but unfortunately not the top level. QUESTION: HOW MANY MINUTES PRIOR TO TOUR TIME SHOULD I MEET?  We request that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Due to the exclusive and timed nature of our entries, it's imperative that all guests arrive on time. We do not have the luxury of waiting for guests who are running late, or catching them up after the fact.  QUESTION: WHERE IS THE MEETING POINT? Please do NOT go to the Eiffel Tower, your tour does NOT meet there. Your tour meeting point depends on the date of your tour. You will meet at our new Easy Pass Tours Office at 36, Avenue de la Bourdonnais (7th District). Our office is about a three-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. QUESTION: WHAT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO GET TO THE MEETING POINT BY MÉTRO OR RER? It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from the closest Métro (École Militaire, line 8) or RER station (Pont de l'Alma, line C) to the tour meeting point. After leaving your resort and meeting your guides we'll start the climb up to the Soria reservoir. There'll be great views of the impressive volcanic landscapes on the way and once there we'll stop for a traditional breakfast (not included) consisting of local specialities, freshly-squeezed papaya juice and home-made bread. Then it's time to go off road again – we'll speed down dirt tracks raising clouds of dust on the way. You'll see the local cave dwellings, plantations of tropical fruit and more otherworldly rock formations. After a drive through a fragrant pine forest we'll stop at the remote settlement of Tunte for lunch in a traditional restaurant. We'll feast on barbecued chicken, a selection of salads and tiny local potatoes with spicy mojo salsa. Sangria and soft drinks are also included in the price. Then the brave hearted can go on a camel ride in Fataga, Berber-style, for around 30 minutes.
