The Union JL22 StrongBOLT Euro Profile Mortice Sashlock is ideal for timber doors hinged on the left or right and suitable for doors up to 54mm thick. It is designed for use with an Euro profile cylinder. The deadbolt is locked or unlocked by key or cylinder turn, and measures 14mm for secure positive deadlocking. The JL22 StrongBolt Sashlock has hardened steel pins to give increased resistance to sawing attacks. The chamfered bolt design increases the performance of the lock under side load testing. The JL22 Sashlock has an easily reversible radius latch, that uses the unique Union SwitchLatch technology, requiring no tools for easier, quicker installation. The sashlock can be installed into many UK mortices without the need for additional carpentry or spoiling the edge of the door. A radius plastic inner allows easy installation and a gives a professional finish, whilst the anti-rattle adjustable strike allows on-site, fine tuning.
