This base is upholstered in a hardwearing faux suede fabric, the total base depth is approximately 14 Inch with a generous 11 inch depth of internal storage space. The mattress is not included but can be purchased seperately. A headboard can be added to either end of the base, giving you the option to choose which side the lid will open.

The Joseph Pillowtalk Latex Pocket Sprung Series 1500 Mattress is a firmer mattress that incorporates pocket springs plus an 8 gauge rod edge. This gives a firm base to which extra paddings have been added including latex foam to make this a slightly firmer sleeping domain. The pillow-top is upholstered with a cool attractively quilted cover. The sides of the mattress and the base of the divan are likewise gorgeously detailed. There are turning handles on either side of the mattress for easy care.
