Henry Ford revolutionized the automotive industry by a production line that was more efficient, effective and churned out cars for the masses. The DeLuxe models were introduced in 1938 to bridge the gap between the standard models and the luxury Lincoln range. The look of these cars were modernized with an upgrade in the grille and headlights, side grilles were removed and replaced with chrome strips. A must have to add to your collection. Elvis brought his first Cadillac a 1954 Fleetwood Series 60, which was pink. This car was destroyed in a roadside fire. On July 5th, 1955 Elvis purchased a new Cadillac in blue with a black roof. He had the car repainted by a neighbor called Art. Art designed a bespoke color pink which was named “Elvis Rose”. In September 1955, Scotty Moore drove the car into a passing vehicle. Elvis had the upholstery replaced, the body work retouched and the roof painted white. The car remains on permanent display at Graceland.
