We’ll collect you and bring you to Arteara, a valley that is at the crossroads between the green north and the arid south, a contrast that has led to a striking landscape. There will be time to check out the picturesque village of Fataga, including the beautiful whitewashed church.  Then it’s time for the highlight of the day. You will ride a dromedary (single-humped) camel for about three-quarters of an hour across palm groves. Camels were introduced to the Canaries 600 years ago by the Castilians during their conquest of the islands. Nowadays, there are more than 150 on Gran Canaria.  Following the ride we’ll settle down for a snack consisting of a sandwich and a juice. After lunch, well take a scenic route back to the coast to drop you back to your hotel.

Die Installation wurde von einem  20-köpfigen Team innerhalb von sechs Wochen konstruiert.  Die Fußwege zeigen  tolle  Panoramablicke auf  London. Jede der 20 Brücken, die in unserer beliebten und erneuerten  Darstellung ‘New Great Bridges of the World' präsentiert wird,  zeigt eine atemberaubende  Meisterleistung der Technik. Nachdem Sie durch Animationen und Anzeigen in den Towers etwas über die Geschichte der Brücke lernen, gehen Sie weiter zu den Viktorianischen Maschinenräumen mit den wunderschön erhaltenen Dampfmaschinen, die einst genutzt wurden um die Brückenhebung zu ermöglichen. Vor über 100 Jahren bauten die Viktorianer eine Brücke die zu einer der berühmtesten Attraktionen Londons wurde. Obere Fußgängerwege wurden gebaut damit  Menschen die Themse überqueren können während die Brücke hochgezogen wird  und große Schiffe an der Tower Bridge vorbeifahren  können. Heute dienen diese Fußwege als Aussichtsgalerie, die den Besuchern die spektakulärsten Blicke auf eine sich stets wandelnde Londoner Skyline schenkt. Fußgängerwege & Ausstellung: Besucher betreten die Tower Bridge Ausstellung über den North Tower. Sie werden dann mit dem Aufzug auf die Spitze des Towers gebracht (47 Meter über der Themse) wo sie die einzigartige Gelegenheit haben, das Stahlgerüst der Brücke von innen zu sehen. Ein kleiner Film erklärt die Geschichte und Herkunft der Brücke und es besteht die Möglichkeit,  von beiden überdachten Fußwegen aus die spektakulären Ausblicke zu bewundern. Auf dem östlichen Übergang gibt es eine fantastische Sicht  auf die Docklands und vom westlichen Übergang können Sie das neue  GLA Gebäude sehen, den Tower of London, St Paul’s, die Stadt, das Becken von London und Big Ben und das London Eye in  der Entfernung. Interaktive Computerstände und grafische Tafeln erklären den Besuchern die Bedeutung der Aussichten und geben mehr Informationen  zur Geschichte und  zum Bau der Brücke. Das interaktive Material und die Grafiktafeln sind in sieben Sprachen verfasst und es ist auch für die Videoshow ein Audioaufhänger für Schwerhörige vorhanden.  Im South Tower gibt es einen  weiteren Film  zu sehen, vor dem Abstieg  für einen kleinen Spaziergang  zum historischen Maschinenraum,  inbegriffen in Ihrem Ticketpreis. Viktorianische Maschinenräume: Sie geben  faszinierende Einblicke in das Konstruktionswesen des späten 19. Jahrhunderts.   Die großen und schön erhaltenen, kohlenbetriebenen Maschinen wurden  zur Fertigstellung der Tower Bridge 1894 installiert, und genutzt um bis 1976 Tausende der Klappbrückenhebungen  zu ermöglichen .  Obwohl die Hebevorrichtungen heute mit Elektrizität funktionieren, sind  die originalen Dampfmaschinen immer noch  vorhanden. Die Maschinenräume geben  Besuchern die Möglichkeit mit Modellen zu experimentieren, die die Technologie der Brücke demonstrieren. Realise the adrenaline of flight. In the Indoor vertical wind tunnel you will balance mid-air using leading technology and without the need for parachutes or planes. Zip slide from the Chinook helicopter then choose your route. Use swing strength and balance to navigate high above the ground. Once you’re in there’s no looking back - and only the brave look down. Inspired by the famous military Tarzan course, there are 36 different challenges over 5 storeys on the confidence high ropes course. Zig zag across rolling beams, climb ladder bridges and cross snake steps over 20 metres above the ground. Buckle up for the most thrilling challenge.   What does High Ropes challenge (with Adventure Basecamp) include? 60 minutes on the 5 storey High Ropes confidence course including a heli-zip wire from The Bear Grylls Adventure Chinook helicopter. Expert instruction and briefing - No previous experience needed but if you are an expert there will be still be a challenge for you. All safety equipment including harnesses and helmets. The High Ropes experience is an outdoor course so you will need warm clothes and gloves if you visit during colder months and times of day. There are lockers on site and there will be some items in the retail shop if the weather changes suddenly. The high ropes course will not close in rain - if it ain’t raining, it ain’t training! Only in extreme weather conditions such as high wind or lightning, in which case your ticket will be exchanged for one of the indoor activities or re-book for another day of your choice. Refuel and Rehydrate Fuel up at The Canteen, The Bear Grylls Adventure onsite restaurant, when you need a bit of recharging after all the amazing activities! Restrictions Due to the nature of the activities, women who are pregnant will not be able to take part in the Adventure Basecamp. If you are under the influence of alcohol you will not be permitted to take part in the Adventure Basecamp and no refunds will be offered to those who are not permitted. Adventure Basecamp is recommended for guests aged 15+ and if you are under 18 you will need the help of someone 18 or over to complete your Adventure Portal documents.  If you are injured you might not be able to take part in all aspects of the Adventure Basecamp. DIVE/SNORKEL - You cannot fly within 12 hours before or after completing the open water dive experience. Under 16’s will need a guardian over 18 on their activities with them. 16 and 17 year olds can visit unaccompanied but they will be unable to supervise others. DIVE - Dive experience is only for guests aged 14+ and 1.4m tall.   Height & Weight Restrictions DIVE - Height restriction: 4.6 ft (1.4 m). iFLY / HIGH ROPES - Minimum 4.2 foot (1.3 meters) tall, maximum height 6.7 feet (2.03 meters).
