The Day Pass is made up of a self-guided visit of the Mémorial de Caen itself and a guided tour of the D-Day Landing Beaches and key sites. Visitors can spend as much time as they wish discovering the Mémorial de Caen on the same day as their Landing Beaches guided tour or on another day.  The Landing Beaches guided tour is a complete 5 hours round trip with a bilingual guide from Le Mémorial de Caen in an air-conditioned mini-van including the visit of the following main sites:  the artificial harbor at Arromanches, the American Military Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, Omaha Beach and the Pointe du Hoc. A Shorter Day Tour visiting Rosslyn Chapel, Scott’s View & Melrose Abbey. Departing at 09.30 your tour takes you south to the world famous Scott’s View, with stunning views over the Tweed Valley and the Eildon Hills. You will also get the opportunity to visit the original Wallace Monument. From here you travel to Melrose with the opportunity to explore its great Border Abbey, founded by the Cistercians in the 12th Century. The Cistercian monks had very close connections with the Knights Templar and Melrose Abbey is the burial place of Robert the Bruce's heart, brought back from the crusades in Moorish Spain. Following lunch in Melrose you will make your way to the stunning 15th century Rosslyn Chapel, immortalised in Dan Brown’s “Da Vinci Code” and you can find out more about the myths and legends surrounding the whereabouts of the “Holy Grail”

A beautiful and interesting day tour from Salou that will take take you away from the coast onto a scenic route right through the beautiful interior of Catalonia with olive groves and vineyards. The first stop is at the Monastery of Poblet, which is still inhabited by monks that live in almost total seclusion. Poblet is therefore the main example of the famous strict Cistercian order. Poblet is not only a monastery but also a military fort, a palace, a pantheon and famous for its high artistic value. It is therefore quite logical that it´s been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1991. After visiting the monastery, we´ll drive on to the medieval village of Mont Blanc, famous for its annual knights Festival and where George, alledgedly fought with the dragon!  The walls surrounding Montblanc are one of the best preserved in Catalonia. Here, you´ll have the opportunity to have a nice little walk around and take your seat on one of the terraces for a drink or lunch (optional).  We´ll end the day with a visit to a local wine cellar. Your guide will tell you everything you need to know about making wine, from picking the grapes to bottling the bottles. And of course, we´ll also offer you a little glass to taste it all yourselves. Enjoy a full day tour taking in some of the most dramatic scenery of the Scottish Highlands. Visit Glencoe and have the chance to enjoy a cruise on Loch Ness and a visit to Urquhart Castle.  From Glasgow you will travel north before making a refreshment stop on the shores of Loch Lomond. Travelling the length of the loch, you will climb up into the Highlands, over the unique, dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to majestic Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most haunting glens, site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan.  Continuing via Loch Linnhe, you'll stop in the Fort William area for lunch, then journey onwards, passing beneath Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, before you enter the natural beauty of the Great Glen. Travelling on, you can admire the Caledonian Canal and the pretty village of Fort Augustus, enjoying spectacular views of Loch Ness as you drive along the shoreline to Urquhart Castle.  Loch Ness, 24 miles long and 700 feet deep, is most famous for sightings of the Loch Ness Monster, affectionately known as “Nessie”. You will spend 2 hours at Loch Ness, where you can choose to explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle* and learn of its history inside the modern visitor centre, and also take an Award Winning Jacobite cruise* across the loch.  Passing through Inverness, Capital of the Highlands, you will start your return journey home. Cross the Grampian Mountains and the woodland scenery of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl, with an evening refreshment stop at the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry, en route back to Glasgow.  *OPTIONAL EXTRA.
