Purpurrot, strahlend im Glas. Dieser Wein präsentiert sich mit fruchtigen Aromen, Waldbeeren, schwarzen Kirschen, floralen Anklängen mit Veilchen Blüten, Gewürzen wie Nelke und Süssholz. Im Geschmack ist der Wein kräftig, vollmundig und rund. Die säure ist lebhaft und harmoniert mit den reifen Tanninen. Der Nachhall ist sehr lang und konzentriert.
