Facilities and Access Entrance and parking: The castle is reached on foot along a causeway from West Park slipway in St Helier. Visitors can either walk at low tide or catch the pirate-themed Castle Ferry (small charge applies) at high or low tide. Public parking is available in Patriotic Street, the Waterfront or in parking bays off Victoria Avenue. Buses and cycle routes: All bus routes terminate at Liberation Station which is a short walk away. Jersey cycle route 1 Refreshments: A coffee shop is on the premises – members receive 10% with their voucher (found in your voucher pack) Gift Shop: Jersey Heritage gift shops, selling gifts, souvenirs, books and toys are located at Elizabeth Castle and in the Castle Ferry kiosk. It’s cool as ice and twice as nice! The penguins think so, too. Play! Splash! Pretend! What would you like to be? A sleek sliding penguin? A deep-sea explorer? How about both? In Polar Play Zone, you can slip into a penguin suit and try being a bird in the Icy South play area. From there, head to the Icy North to explore the belugas’ Arctic waters in a kid-sized submarine. Don’t forget to shake hands—or is it arms?—with colorful sea stars in the touch pools. In Polar Play Zone, you’ll learn about polar opposites—big and small, fast and slow, shallow and deep, even north and south—while you play. See John Harrison's groundbreaking timekeepers up close and explore the home of the Astronomer Royals. The bright red Time Ball on top of Flamsteed House is one of the world’s earliest public time signals and was first used in 1833 and still operates today. Don’t miss the Great Equatorial Telescope, located in the huge iconic onion dome, which gave astronomers new views of the universe over 100 years ago. Located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Maritime Greenwich, the National Maritime Museum and the Queen’s House are both located within a short walking distance from the Observatory and are free to visit. Cutty Sark, the world’s sole-surviving tea clipper is now an award-winning museum and visitor experience and is another must-see when visiting Greenwich.

Este fenómeno ocurre entre marzo y septiembre produciendo una proyección de las sombras de las plataformas, hasta formarse siete triángulos de luz, pero durante todo el año podrá apreciar muchas más edificaciones que contienen en su historia, en su arquitectura y en su esencia, el importante y renombrado vestigio de la civilización Maya. Tanta emoción abrirá el apetito. Habrá tiempo para degustar platos típicos de México en el restaurante Hubiku (bebidas incluidas). Durante el recorrido, podrá visitar la ciudad colonial de Valladolid y nadar en las refrescantes aguas del cenote. Este lugar es una visita obligada al visitar Cancún o Riviera Maya y sus alrededores.
