Bei der Destillerie Spitzmund handelt es sich um eine kleine Brennerei aus Kiel, die sich auf qualitativ hochwertige Produkte spezialisiert hat. Diese werden in nur geringen Mengen hergestellt. Jede Produktion besteht aus höchstens 700 Flaschen. Dabei legt die Brennerei besonderen Wert auf die Auswahl natürlicher Zutaten. Für die Herstellung des Gins werden keine künstlichen Zusatzstoffe verwendet. Im Spitzmund New Western Dry Gin haben insbesondere die Früchte einen hohen Anteil bei den Zutaten. Neben Wacholder und Zitrusfrüchteschalen sind unter anderem auch Apfel und Pflaume im Gin enthalten. Diese verleihen der Spirituose einen besonders fruchtigen Geschmack.
