As Sydney's leading family and tourist attraction, SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium offers entertainment for young and old alike. The Palace is perhaps best known as the home of Mary, Queen of Scots, and as the setting for many of the dramatic episodes in her turbulent reign. Mary was married at Holyroodhouse and witnessed the brutal killing of her secretary Rizzio by her jealous second husband, Lord Darnley, in her private apartments. The Palace briefly served as the headquarters of Bonnie Prince Charlie during the 1745 uprising. Today the State Apartments are used regularly by The Queen and other members of the Royal Family for State ceremonies and official entertaining. What there is to see: The State Apartments reflect the changing tastes of successive monarchs and are renowned for their fine plasterwork ceilings and magnificent furnishings, particularly the unrivalled collection of Brussels tapestries.  One of the most famous rooms in the Palace is the Great Gallery, hung with  Jacob de Wet's portraits of the real and legendary kings of Scotland. Included on the visit, a display focuses on the Order of the Thistle, the highest honour in Scotland.  The Order honours Scottish men and women who have held public office or who have contributed in a particular way to national life. Shown alongside historic insignia is an example of the mantle worn at the Thistle ceremony at St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh, which The Queen attends during her visit to the Palace in July. From 1 April to 31 October the gardens, which are today used for garden parties, can be included as part of a visit to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Visitors to the gardens must keep to the paths, which are about 400 yards long. Outward journey A representative will meet you at London's St Pancras International station to give you your welcome pack and tickets ready for your 2.5 hour Eurostar train journey to Paris city centre. Meeting Point: Eurostar Terminal, 6.15am Monday - Friday or 5.30am Saturdays. Passport required for travel and please check any visa requirements for travel to France prior to booking.  Upon arrival at Gare Du Nord, you and your host will board your luxury coach for a private sightseeing tour and start our Parisian journey taking in all major landmarks including the famous Champs-Elysees, the Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde. Your first stop is the Eiffel Tower, get your cameras ready as you will have time to take photos before your host escorts you to the pier to board your lunch cruise on the River Seine. Board your 2 hour sightseeing and lunch cruise while enjoying exceptional vies of the city with your premium seating under the glass canopy, whilst savouring French cuisines at is finest with your 3 course lunch. Your lunch will include champagne, a cheese course and coffee as you cruise around the city of Paris. Enjoy the live relaxing music throughout the cruise, this exceptional lunch experience is guaranteed to be a highlight of your trip. You will meet your host after lunch and board your bus to Galeries Layfayette - world famous for its excellent shopping and this is where you will have free time to explore. If shopping is not your thing, why not visit the Louvre? Speak to your host about purchasing a skip the line ticket to the Louvre, where you will be able see over 35000 works of art including the world famous Mona Lisa. Return journey Meet your host at Opera to ensure you are back at Gare Du Nord on time to check in for your Eurostar train back to London (arrival in London 21.39).
