What if it rains? Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour is an open-air and all-weather event The venue, audience seating, and the stage are completely uncovered. The event is an all-weather experience and Opera Australia is committed to going ahead with a performance of Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour even in doubtful or unfavourable weather conditions. Please come prepared so that you are as comfortable as possible, and ready to support the performers, who will carry on singing in the rain. Bring warm and waterproof clothing Sydney weather is full of surprises so we recommend that you dress with this in mind and bring warm, weatherproof clothing. Please note that although umbrellas can be brought to the venue, out of consideration for other members of the audience they cannot be used during the performance. Ponchos Ponchos will be available to purchase at the event for $5.00. We'll be selling the Biowear Eco Poncho. Made of corn, soy, and sunflower starches, these ponchos are biodegradable. Once disposed of, the poncho takes about a year to break down and become a protein of the ecosystem. We'll be donating any profit from the sale of ponchos to Clean Up Australia. Performance pauses and cancellations We will only cancel a performance during electrical storms (within 10km radius) or during times of extremely high winds and/or rain. The decision to cancel a performance is not made until 19.30 or later and a cancellation may be called during the performance. So please plan to travel to the venue for a 19.30 performance start time even in unfavourable weather conditions.  In some weather conditions La Bohème may have a delayed start time or be paused for up to 50 minutes at any point throughout the performance.  Auxiliary expenses including travel, accommodation or hospitality which you have arranged in conjunction with the performance are at your own risk and not refundable by Opera Australia. What do I wear? The weather is full of surprises so we recommend that you dress with this in mind and bring warm, weatherproof clothing. Please note that although umbrellas can be brought to the venue, out of consideration for other members of the audience they cannot be used during the performance. Are there subtitles? La Bohème is sung in Italian with English and Simplified Chinese subtitles. Can I purchase food and drinks at the venue? A range of food and beverages will be available at the venue from 17.00 and menus will be available closer to the date.

Ballintoy Harbour is the next port of call, where Theon Greyjoy cames back to Pyke Harbour.  This is so recognisable there has even been a plaque erected! Giant’s Causeway – you can’t come this far without visiting this UNESCO World Heritage Sie Carrick-a-Rede Ropebridge - you can't be so close and not fit in a visit to the Ropebridge - but please don't do a Balon Greyjoy! Larrybane - where Renly swears to Lady Stark that he will avenge Ned's death, but meets his end at the hands of the shadow assassin conjured up in those caves you visited in Cushendun. The Dark Hedges – Possibly the most recognisable of the locations where Arya Stark makes her escape down The Kings Road. There is a lot of walking on what are sometimes uneven surfaces during this tour, and it therefore requires moderate fitness levels.  Please come dressed appropriately for not only the season, but also for the activity. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC) is a must see destination in Central Florida.  Less than an hour east of Orlando, KSCVC provides a mixture of the past and the future, with rich historical references in each of the exhibits, coupled with a clear vision into the future, bolstered by the amazing learning from both the International Space Station and the Hubble telescope photos.  Admission to KSCVC includes all of the exhibits, attractions, the IMAX theatre tickets and a very comprehensive bus tour to the Apollo/Saturn V Center.  Admission also includes entrance to the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, which for history and science buffs is where you will want to start your day! There is a new exhibit called Science on a Sphere. The U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame has a wide range of hand-on exhibits for kids and is also the home of the Astronaut Training Experience (known as ATX).

Also the National Park Service offers over 1,300 free walk-in tickets each day for the USS Arizona Memorial Tour on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to come early for these walk up tickets, the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center is open daily from 7am. Pearl Harbor Historic Parks ticket counter, also located in the courtyard of the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Check In Policy & Maximizing Your Time Visitors with ticket reservations are required to check in at the National Park Service ticket counter one hour before their tour time. If you check in late, the National Park Service reserves the right to reassign your tour tickets. We highly recommend starting at the Visitors Center’s museum before embarking to the memorial. No Bag Policy For security reasons, no purses, backpacks, fanny packs, diaper bags, large camera cases or luggage is allowed at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Valuables should not be left in your vehicle. Bag storage is available at the entrance for a fee of $3 per bag. We recommend that visitors bring in their wallets, ID, water, cameras and cellphones. Strollers Strollers are allowed in the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, but not in the theaters or on shuttle boats to the USS Arizona Memorial. While strollers may be parked at the theaters and picked up once visitors return from the Memorial, the National Park Service is not responsible for monitoring strollers or other personal items left behind. Restrooms There are public restroom facilities available at the Visitor Center; visitors are encouraged to use the facilities at the Visitor Center before beginning their Arizona Memorial Program. Food and Beverage Other than clear bottled water, no food or drinks are allowed in the theater, on the shuttle boats, or at the USS Arizona Memorial. Dress Attire Civilian Visitors are reminded that they are visiting a site of tremendous loss of life in service to our country. Sandals are permissible, but bathing suits or profane T-shirts are discouraged. Military Military visitors to the USS Arizona Memorial are within the boundary of Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, and military regulations relating to military dress are enforced by Navy personnel. Per the Pacific Commander, military visitors in uniform are required to dress in Class B or better in order to gain access to the shuttle boats to the USS Arizona Memorial. Battle dress uniform is not allowed on the USS Arizona Memorial, though it is allowed throughout the Visitor Center and at sites on Ford Island. Military visitors are welcome to wear civilian clothes when they visit.
