PVM210 ist somit ideal geeignet zum Einsatz auf Dächern und auf Leitern. Das PVM210 verfügt über einen Messbereich bis 1999 W/m², die Auto-Power-Off Funktion schaltet das Gerät automatisch aus. Ein Universal-Kameragewinde auf der Rückseite erlaubt eine Montage auf einem Stativ für reproduzierbare Messreihen. Das ablesefreundliche Display und die Data-Hold-Funktion erlaubt die schnelle, und genaue Messung der solaren Einstrahlung. Damit können Photovoltaikmodule optimal positioniert werden kann. Mit der Messung der aktuellen solaren Einstrahlung kann die Ausgangsleistung von Solarmodulen oder von Solaranlagen bestimmt werden und damit die Leistung einer Solaranlage überprüft werden.
