The tour starts with a visit to the delightful villages of Volendam, Zaanse Schans, Marken, and Edam and enjoy a cheese-tasting and a demonstration of traditional clog-making! From there you will to visit an authentic and typical Dutch wooden windmill, followed up by a cruise on the waters of the lake Ijsselmeer to the picturesque village of Volendam. You will have the chance to indulge the various delicacies the Netherlands have to offer, including local cheese, lunch in a traditional Dutch fish restaurant and visit an authentic Dutch bakery.       

Your safety is paramount at Forestal Park and you will receive a full safety briefing on all the safety rules and mechanisms you will need at the park. You will also receive a full set of personal protective equipment. No special level of physical fitness is required and there are activities for all ages and physical abilities. So come and spend a day jam-packed with adventure, sports, nature and fun for the whole family. The maximum capacity of visitors to the park at a certain time is 110 adults and 30 children (in this case six to nine years) at the same time so the park is never too crowded. The time for the sports circuit is between two-and-a-half to three hours. And for the family circuit about two hours. You can enjoy only one circuit and the price is the same price for both the sporting circuit (participants must be at least 1.45 metres tall) and the family circuit (participants must be at least 1.10 metres in height). Children: 1.10 metres, minimum height six to 12 years inclusive.

The Beast operates every hour on the hour from 10.00 - 18.00 out of Pier 83 at 42nd Street and 12th Avenue. Throughout the ride, the captain and crew keep the passengers excited with upbeat rock and roll music and New York-style humor. They’ll have the whole family laughing and screaming with rollercoaster-like twists and turns, pulsating music and a touch of comedy, squirting the kids just for fun. All passengers must stay seated while the boat is in motion. Keep your hands and head in the boat while docking. Hold on to hats and sunglasses, they may fly away when THE BEAST gets up to full speed. This is a wonderful alternative to an airboat ride … quiet, peaceful and surreal. Enjoy a leisurely paddle with a naturalist guide in a very unique part of the Everglades. Throughout the Mangrove forest are brackish "lakes" whose waters are a mix of "sweet" fresh water and salt water. They are nursery grounds for herons, egrets, stilts, ducks, wood storks, spoonbills, alligators, otters and a gamut of fishes. Interconnecting these lakes are narrow, flowing tidal creeks. The mangrove forest grows to the very edge and over the tops of these creeks forming a canopy or a tunnel. The dense canopy regulates moisture and humidity allowing orchids and bromeliads to thrive. The sunlight (or moonlight) shimmering through the canopy, the stillness of the forest vegetation and the sounds of the forest itself, make for a surreal experience in the tunnels. We use single and two person kayaks and you do not need previous kayaking experience.
