The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to one of Europe’s largest collections of global marine life and the jewel in the crown of the 28 SEA LIFE attractions in the UK and Europe. Rainforests of the World will totally replace the existing rainforest area and provide a snapshot into the vulnerable eco-systems of Malaysia, West Africa and South America. In an immersive journey across three continents guests will get up close and personal with some of the rainforests’ most famous and feared residents. A pair of 6 ft West African Dwarf Crocodiles will be just snapping distance away in a specially created wetland habitat mirroring their African home. The family of highly toxic Poison Arrow Frogs will provide a kaleidoscope of colour, but watch out for the alluring yellow Golden Dart Frog, the most lethal of them all. Continuing the small but deadly theme is one of Europe’s biggest collections of Piranha fish famed for their flesh eating frenzies. London Dungeon The London Dungeon brings 1000 years of history to life in 19 live shows, including 2 thrilling rides, all in 90 minutes. Guests will be guided through plague-ridden streets, witness Guy Fawkes’ dramatic plot to blow up Parliament, travel back to Jack the Ripper’s bleak Whitechapel and hear the latest gossip and share a drink with the locals in The Tavern, the all NEW Victorian pub experience. Everyone remembers where they were on September 11, 2001. An event that shook the world, the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center changed the path of recent history in a way we still see every day. Visit Ground Zero to gain a deeper understanding of 9/11, the affect it had on the city (and the world!) and the long struggle undergone in New York City to move forward from that day.  With an expert local guide, you’ll explore not just the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, but the areas and landmarks around the World Trade Center that featured so poignantly in news reports after the attacks. Traveling in small groups, you’ll visit St. Paul’s Chapel, where friends and families gathered to hear news of their loved ones, and where handmade prayers and memorials still lie.  At Brookfield Place (previously known as the World Financial Center) you’ll learn about the economic effects of the attack and the struggle to rebuild afterwards. You’ll visit the Eleven Tears Memorial, a touching and personal memorial, which commemorates the 11 American Express employees that died in 9/11. The Winter Garden is another must-see on Vesey Street. You may have missed it on your own, but with a local guide leading the way, you won’t miss a beat.  After that we’ll head for Ground Zero, to see the stunning 9/11 Memorial Pools, each one built in the footprint of one of the twin towers, and inscribed with the names of all those who perished in the attack. Your guide will take this time to give you a more personal account of the tragedy that unfolded here, taking you to the Fireman’s Memorial and the Survivor Tree to tell you the incredible stories of courage and loss that unfolded right where you stand.  The last stop on our tour is one we’ll let you manage on your own. The 9/11 Museum is a very well curated space, with artifacts salvaged from the event on display, alongside countless personal stories. The looming mountain of Tibidabo is visible from nearly the entire city of Barcelona. Reaching nearly 1700 feet high, Tibidabo Mountain Barcelona is the tallest peak of the Serra de Collserola. Besides being quite the sight from within Barcelona, this mountain is also a popular place for travelers to visit who are seeking sweeping views of the city and coastline. Another attraction on the mountain is the Tibidabo Amusement Park. Built in 1889, this amusement park has the feeling of stepping back in time. If you’re tired of visiting the cathedrals and museums of Barcelona, escape the bustle of the city for an adventure up Tibidabo. The Tibidabo Amusement Park is a delight for families, couples, and groups. Over the years, the park has retained many of its original rides, many dating from the early twentieth century. On 6 levels you will find different attractions including: roller coaster, log flume, bumper cars, carousel, etc. There is a 4D cinema in 'Dididado' for the little ones and a 'horror house' for the older children. This show is not for the faint hearted and although in Spanish it is scary fun! On a hot sunny day you will enjoy a great day on top of the world at Tibidabo Amusement Park. Good old fashioned fun and an adventure to get there! Getting to the rides at the top of Tibidabo Mountain Barcelona is half the fun of this amusement park. One of the ways to reach the park is the Tibidabo tram called Tramvia Blau. This tram was first built in 1901, and both kids and adults alike will love its historic charm. The tram brings visitors halfway up the mountain. To continue on to the amusement park, it is necessary to climb aboard the funicular. A ride on the funicular will reveal spectacular views of Barcelona and the chance to the visit the church at the very summit of the mountain. Maybe it's not the easiest way to go to Tibidabo, but sure it's the most charming!
