Norcal Coastal Tour Our deluxe 60-minute flight begins with our take off from our seaplane base in the lovely bayside village of Sausalito just across the Golden Gate Bridge. We then traverse lovely Marin County on our way out over Tomales Bay where Sir Francis Drake himself likely landed over a century ago. Then on to the Pt. Reyes National Seashore, looking for frolicing porpoise and whales along the way until we round the breathtakingly scenic Pt. Reyes Lighthouse. Then we will continue along the incredible Northern Californian coastline above Highway One and finally back over the legendary Golden Gate Bridge herself! Then on above Crissy Field, Downtown San Francisco, AT&T Park - Home of the Major League Baseball World Champion San Francisco Giants, then on over the infamous island prison of Alcatraz. Finally your flight will be completed with a pass by the historic Angel Island - the Immigrant Gateway to the West and a smooth landing back in Sausalito’s Richardson Bay. Changing of the Guard The Changing of the Guard ceremony takes place at 11:30 daily from April until the end of July and on alternate days for the rest of the year, weather permitting. The new guards arrive at the forecourt of the Palace at 11:30 from Wellington Barracks. The journey takes about 5 minutes and the soldiers are accompanied by a band. The ceremony is conducted on the Palace forecourt and takes approximately forty minutes to complete.
