Calypso Star Charters is fully licensed by the Department of Environment and Water.  They are also privileged to be the only one-day shark cage diving operator who is permitted to use natural fish berley to attract the Great White Sharks to our boat at the Neptune Islands Marine Park.  Being permitted to berley provides you with the best possible chance of a shark sighting and productive interaction close to the vessel and cage resulting in a memorable encounter and wonderful photographic opportunities. They only use locally sourced, natural fish product to attract the sharks, our tethered baits are attached by natural fibre twine.  The use of synthetic decoys is not permitted in South Australia. The practices are conducted with the utmost respect to the welfare of sharks Along with this license, they are proud to be Advanced Eco Certified and the Captains’ are Eco Certified Guides. Receiving this certification provides us with the recognition that we conduct the operations in a way that are environmentally conscious and sustainable whilst also providing an educational component. No minimum passenger numbers. If you're the only person booked they will still go! More departures than any operator. They operate on every available Activity Day.  The vessel, Calypso Star 2 is fitted with a gyroscopic active stabiliser, which has reduced the rolling motion of the vessel by up to 80%. If you are susceptible to seasickness do not compromise with a non-stabilised vessel. Largest vessel means fewer cancellations due to bad weather. The trip out can be rough but the Neptune Islands give us good shelter from the waves. The vessel can accommodate up to 45 guests across 2 decks with ample seating in air-conditioned comfort. 2 hot showers are also provided onboard. Actively support SARDI, CSIRO and Flinders University in their ongoing research into the Great White Sharks and their movement patterns around Neptune Islands. They provide logistical support and positions on board the vessel for researchers to conduct observations and tagging. 100% Safety record. With over 25 years experience you are in good hands.  

Take a cruise with us around in Europe's largest natural harbour, home to the town of Poole, the golden beaches of Sandbanks and Brownsea Island. Your ticket includes: 70 minutes cruise around Poole Harbour   Departure Pier - Poole Quay From either open deck seating or comfortable saloon you will see stunning views of the exceptional landscape that surrounds it.  Your 70 minute trip will start on charming Poole Quay with its old buildings and buzzing atmosphere.  Next you will go past Brownsea Island, home to wildlife and picturesque Brownsea Castle, built to protect against French invasions. After that comes the Sandbanks Peninsula and the luxurious houses of the ‘Golden Mile’. Then you will tour the great natural expanse of the harbour. Fronting onto beautiful scenery it helped inspire classics like Lord of the Rings.  Important notice: Passengers can't disembark and embark at Brownsea Island. The cruise goes around Brownsea Island and won't stop at Brownsea Island.

Set off for a full day excursion to Normandy from Paris with an official guide. Set off from your Paris accommodation at 06:30 for our central Paris agency. Relax during the journey by luxury air-conditioned coach before arriving at the Caen Memorial Museum at around 10:15. The Caen Memorial Museum retraces the various stages of the conflict that took place during the Second World War. Your guided tour will give you the chance to see everyday objects from life during occupation, maps, and models of military vehicles, as well as film screenings that recreate the emotions of D-Day and the Battle for Normandy. The visit continues with an included lunch at the restaurant in the Caen Memorial Museum. Your first stop will be at the Pointe du Hoc, overlooking the hundred-foot-high cliffs. Stormed by the American Rangers on D-Day, it was one of the key German fortified sites along the Normandy coast and was equipped, at that time, with a number of heavy artillery posts.  You will then visit the famous American Cemetery at Saint Laurent, located just above Omaha Beach. This 170-acre site is home to 9,387 perfectly aligned white marble headstones, a memorial, chapel, and the Garden of the Missing. It pays tribute to all the American soldiers who died during the Second World War. A small trail leads down the hill to Omaha Beach, giving you the opportunity to walk across the sand. You will have one hour to spend here. Following this visit, you will stop at Arromanches, a historic town known for its artificial port, which was built as part of the Normandy landings. The harbour saw the unloading of almost 10,000 tons of equipment. You can still make out the floating reinforced concrete "Phoenix" constructions in the water.  Finally, you will make a short photo-stop near Juno Beach and its cemetery, one of the key D-Day landing beaches for Canadian troops.  Return to your Paris accommodation is scheduled for around 21:30.
