The Terradas family commissioned Josep Puig i Cadafalch to create this building with spectacular results. The Casa de les Punxes broke with all architectural conventions. This majestic mansion, built in 1905, is reminiscent of a medieval castle and reveals the influences of different architectural movements, countless technical innovations and a plethora of decorative elements of great artistic value, including stained glass, wrought iron, ceramics and sculptures. This interactive, multisensory tour will take you deep into the history and spirit of the house; you'll find out about its designer, the architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, and relive the legend of Saint George, which is one of the main leitmotifs of modernisme and a recurrent presence in the Casa de les Punxes. The tour will take you to the enigmatic rooftop where you'll be able to enjoy amazing views of the city. Discover this unique house, its designer and the legend that brings them together.

Two ways to see the Shotover River Canyons combined in one great day out! Imagine being suspended upside down staring directly at the canyon floor waiting to fall from a cliff edge 109m above. At a scare rating of 5 underpants the ‘Gimp Boy Goes to Hollywood’ jump style is one of the Shotover Canyon Swings dare devil jumps. With over 70 jump styles available you can choose your style and your underpants rating (from 1 to 5) and get that pulse racing! Take to the water with a rafting trip down the Shotover River which passes underneath the Shotover Canyon Swing before finishing by rafting through the 170m long Oxenbridge Tunnel and splashing out the end with Cascade rapid. Aquavera is close to Vera beach on the eastern side of the province of Almeria. With Multi Slides, Black Holes, Adventure River, Kamikaze, Tube Slides and Wave Pool. Just 20 minutes from Valle del Este is the excellent Aquavera Water Park with flumes and slides and a separate pool with slides for younger children. There is also a "wave pool" and a further large pool to enjoy a relaxing swim. There are plenty of sunbeds and shades and a restaurant and bar - a great day out for all the family! From Edinburgh you will travel west, passing the imposing Stirling Castle, high on its volcanic rock, and on to a visit at Doune Castle* (which featured in the cult movie ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’). From there journey into the Highlands, past Loch Lubnaig and up through impressive Glen Ogle, a steep glen that stretches for 7 miles, stopping nearby for lunch and beautiful views of the surrounding scenery.  After lunch venture further into the Highlands, stopping to view one of the most photographed castles in Scotland, Kilchurn Castle, nestled on the banks of beautiful Loch Awe and stunningly framed by the surrounding mountains. You will then journey to Inveraray, a small quaint town built in the mid-18th century on the shore of Loch Fyne.  Here we have time to explore the town and pick up some Highland souvenirs or pay an optional visit to Inveraray Castle*, the historic home of the Duke of Argyll, chief of the Clan Campbell, which is set in large beautiful gardens overlooking Loch Fyne.  You then start your homeward journey, driving over the Arrochar Alps, an attractive range of mountains, with a brief pause near the top of the Rest and Be Thankful Pass. A little later we reach enchanting Loch Lomond, where you can stop at the pretty lochside village of Luss before returning to Edinburgh.  *OPTIONAL EXTRA.
