Im Süden Italiens bringt sie ausdrucksstarke und harmonische Rotweine hervor. Der Altopiano Primitivo wird zur Erhaltung des vollen Fruchtaromas besonders schonend ausgebaut und über fast ein Jahr in kleinen Eichenholzfässern gereift. Das Ergebnis ist ein stoffiger, dichter und samtiger Rotwein, der sich mit einem üppigen Aroma reifer Pflaumen, Himbeeren und Kirschen und mit einem verführerischen Hauch von Zimt bedankt.
