First we head up to the West Coast, to the very top of the island, to Los Gigantes, the giant cliffs. here you have magnificent cliff views and here we will stop to give you the opportunity to take some treasued photos.Next we visit Icod de Los Vinos, home of the mysterious Drago Tree, the largest and longest known of its kind in the world. La Oratava, is a city of great architectural beauty, is the next port of call where the guide will recommend a restauarant that you may wish to have lunch in. This is optional and not included in the price. If you don´t wish to use the restaurant you will have free time and you can enjoy a picnic or sandwiches that you have brought from the hotel. You will end the cultural tour around the island with a stop at the Ocean side Basilicain Candelaria, the Patron Saint capital of the Canaries and the famous statue of the Black Madonna. Here, in this famous sqare you will also see the statues of the Gauch Menseyes (Kings), the first inhabitants of the Canaries. With lots of photo stops, this is a perfect way to see the island..

After departing San Francisco, you’ll head through California’s capital city, Sacramento, through the Sierra foothills and into the famous Gold Rush Country, cresting a high mountain pass within the Sierra Nevada. Then we’ll wind our way through large pine forests, before dramatically descending into South Lake Tahoe. Afternoon:  In the evening, we’ll settle into our centrally located hotel and then head out to happy hour with the Apres Ski crowd at the base of Heavenly Mountain Resort before a comfy night’s rest.   SAMPLE ITINERARY – DAY 2 (FRIDAY) SOUTH LAKE TAHOE: CHOOSE YOUR ADVENTURE All Day:  While masses of people are piling into their cars to head to the mountains, you’ll be on the first lift up to carve the groomers, or to get fresh tracks in that Heavenly powder! Don’t worry if you’re not really into skiing, our guides will offer the opportunity to go out on a fabulously scenic drive on the mountain roads surrounding Lake Tahoe, or maybe even a snowshoe adventure! If you’re really just here for the casinos, they’re open 24 hours, and you’re welcome to see if Lady Luck is on your side all day if you like! Don’t want to miss out on any of it? No problem, we’re flexible: our guides know their stuff, and we’ll help you fit in a scenic drive in the morning, get yourself a half day ticket on the mountain, and then hit the casinos all night long!   SAMPLE ITINERARY – DAY 3 (SATURDAY) SOUTH LAKE TAHOE TO SQUAW VALLEY & TRUCKEE, CA Morning:  We’ll hit the road early this morning and head toward historic Tahoe City taking in views of Emerald Bay before heading toward the famous Squaw Valley Resort. If you’re heading up onto this epic ski and snowboarding destination today, you’ll be glad if you dusted off the cobwebs on Heavenly yesterday. This place is the real deal, where you can often see extreme athletes pushing the envelope, soaring from the cliffs as you ride up the famous KT-22 Express. Make sure you bring your swimsuit too: the High Camp Pool and Hot Tub high on the resort is open for business…all winter long! This side of the lake also offers amazing snowshoeing or cross country skiing opportunities as well. Once again, you’ll be offered the choice to head up on the ski hill, or we’ll take you out on the trails through Stanislaus National Forest or maybe a snowshoe hike near the Donner Memorial State Park and explore the history of the ill-fated pioneers of the Donner Party as they struggled to travel west in their wagons and became stranded in the winter of 1846-47. La Experiencia Ultimate para los entusiasmas del espacio - Coma con un Astronauta en el Centro Espacial Kennedy. Una vez haya llegado al centro de visitantes, será la hora de comer y tendrá la oportunidad de disfrutar de una comida buffet y de la presentación de un astronauta - una buena oportunidad para sacar fotos y pedir autógrafos. Después, podrá subir al tour en autobús: DISCOVER KSC, que le llevará cerca de las plataformas de lanzamiento durante este tour guiado con una duración de dos horas. Si realmente quiere conocer el Centro Espacial de Kennedy, no tiene porqué pasarse horas caminando por el complejo y leyendo los paneles de información, ¡de esta manera lo disfrutará mucho más! This is a sacred mountain, as for over a thousand years there was a Christian pilgrimage. There’s much to know about Sliabh League, like the monks who went to Iceland or the eagle and the baby! The scenery all the way up to the Cliffs is spectacular with views of the Atlantic and the Sligo Mountains out in the distance. You also have a great view overlooking Donegal Bay. As you reach the summit you are rewarded with the most beautiful sight of the walk - the cliff face of Bunglas (which simply means "End of Cliff"). See the ruins of a watchtower (as per video below) at the end of Carrigan Head on your journey up also. This watchtower was constructed to defend the northwest coast during the early 19th century when there was the threat of a Napoleonic attack. We then pass through a lovely village called Carrick, before reaching a small harbour village called Teelin. Teelin has a famous Pub called "The Rusty Mackerel" where we stop for a rest. The name of the rusty mackerel came about because way back when there was no refrigeration, they would salt the mackerel in wooden barrels and this way they would keep for months on end without losing their freshness. One of these barrels can be seen still standing outside the front of the pub! Visit historic Donegal Town - home of the O'Donnell Clan and Donegal Castle, and is situated just on the edge of Donegal Bay. The centre of town, known locally as 'The Diamond', is surrounded by bustling cafes, shops, and bars. Stop at Killybegs Harbour which has long been acknowledged as Ireland’s leading fishing port, and a stroll along the pier gives a chance to admire the fishing boats, net menders, and perhaps even catch a glimpse of the seals.
