Departing Edinburgh, you travel north-west for your first stop of the day at magnificent Stirling Castle*, one of Scotland’s most historically significant castles, sitting high on volcanic rock and offering wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. You will have time to visit the castle and learn of the exploits of key historic figures including William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots. With lots of interesting things to see and do here, the Stirling Castle experience is a must for any visitor to Scotland.  You then continue on, past medieval Doune Castle, to the pretty town of Callander, situated on the banks of the River Teith in Stirlingshire, where you will have a chance to stop to enjoy some lunch. From here we enter The Trossachs National Park, also known as “The Highlands in miniature” for its abundance of lochs, mountains and forests, and famous as the homeland of legendary outlaw, Rob Roy MacGregor.  You will then reach the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond, one of the prettiest and largest lochs in the whole of Scotland. Here you can enjoy an hour long cruise* taking in spectacular views of the loch’s many islands and the surrounding mountains. Alternatively, take a stroll through the picturesque loch-side conservation village of Luss, with its quaint houses, cafes and stunning views across the loch’s western shoreline. Explore the magic, beauty and wonder of San Francisco Bay at Aquarium of the Bay.  Your visit will take you through three main exhibit areas that display the amazing riches that lie beneath the surface of the San Francisco Bay and surrounding waters. The Bay and the Animals Who Call it Home - approximately 20,000 animals who live in the Bay and nearby waters, from octopuses to eight-foot sevengill sharks. Guests are also treated to mesmerizing walls of jellies and a chance to have up close and personal encounters with leopard sharks, bat rays, skates, and other “splash zone" animals. By connecting our guests with native marine animals in an engaging and meaningful manner, we nurture transformative, emotional connections that inspire conservation advocacy. Because we reach over 600,000 people a year, these connections have high impact.  Exploring environmental challenges:  Climate change, habitat loss, water pollution, and unsustainable harvest. Provide research on local shark populations Bring back native salmon Assist chefs, restaurants and consumers in selecting sustainable seafood Remove invasive species from marine and estuary environments Support endangered species Educate the public and combat climate-induced sea level rise Enact policy that will create healthy fresh water flows back to San Francisco Bay Our research efforts are grounded in peer-reviewed science and focus on monitoring and improving life for all San Francisco Bay species. We work both alone and in partnership on research, including shark monitoring and captive breeding programs. Our goal is to understand how best to ensure that native animals can thrive in the busy, much used waters of San Francisco Bay, its estuary, marshes and tributaries.

Den Turm erklimmen,nochmal tief Luft holen und dann die Badehose festhalten denn jetzt geht es fast vertikal, wie im freien Fall 28 Meter runnter, rein ins Wasser. Am Ende der Rutschpartie durch ein riesiges Aquarium gleiten - ein must für Adrenalinjunkies. The Lost City Siam Park ist voller Überraschungen für alle Altersstufen und daher haben auch die Kleinsten eine Kinderbereich nur für sich ganz allein. „Die verlorene Stadt“ besteht aus diversen Türmen, Brücken, Netzen, Wasserfällen und insgesamt 15 Rutschbahnen. Baby Zone Der Siam Park hat auch einen ganzen Bereich für die Wassser-Babies. Hier ist alles auf die wirklich jungen Gäste und ihre Eltern abgestimmt.  Der exotisch anmutenden Siam Beach mit traumhaft weißem Sand, Palmen, wunderschönem Blick über den Atlantik ist ein perfekter Ort um die Seele baumeln zu lassen, tiefenentspannt einen erfrischenden Drink zu schlürfen…   Die Seelöweninsel Beim Betreten des Parks werden Sie von unseren sympathischen Seelöwen begrüßt.
