Der DIEGO wird bestimmt von mineralischen Aromen mit Noten von Früchten wie Quitte, Apfel und etwas Aprikose. Dazu gesellen sich auch Noten von frischen Haselnüssen sowie Aromen von frisch gebackenem Brot und gerösteten Mandeln. Opulent im Geschmack, voll mit runden Tanninen. Im Abgang frisch und lang anhaltend, auch hier wieder komplexe Aromen durch die Reifung. Passt zu: hellen Fischgerichten, Sushi und Spargel.

In der Nase zeigt sich ein ausdrucksvolles, betont würziges Bouquet mit Aromen von weissem Pfeffer, Tabak, exotischen Früchten und leicht rauchigen mineralischen Noten. Am Gaumen ist er konzentriert mit dichtem Körper und schöner Balance von ausgeprägten exotischen Noten.
