RED LOOP The official tour of the National Mall, authorized by the National Park Service and National Mall and Memorial Parks. Commentary provided in live guided commentary and in a choice of 8 pre-recorded languages. BLUE LOOP The Heroes tour travels to the sites and memorials honoring American heroes. Travel over the Potomac River leaving Washington, DC behind and visiting Virginia. The tour’s main features are Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon, the Pentagon City Fashion Center, and the US Marine Corps War Memorial (Iwo Jima Statue.) Other highlights include the Vietnam Veterans War Memorial, WWII Memorial and Air Force Memorial. Tour is available with live-guided commentary. YELLOW LOOP Travel through the city's historic center, passing the White House and Dupont Circle before heading out to discover Adams Morgan, the National Zoo, and the old world charm of Georgetown. PANORAMIC NIGHT TOUR Experience the Capital’s standout landmarks beautifully illuminated after dusk. Accompanied by your knowledgeable tour guide, you will be able to discover the stories behind Washington’s iconic landmarks. Your guide will explain the history of these national monuments and reveal the perfect position to capture the most impressive photos. There are many attractions here for both day-trippers and people who want to visit for longer. Historical Sites Stone Fort – Dun Formna, built near the highest point on the island, contains O’Brien’s Castle within it’s wall Churches – Cill Gobnait, Cill na n-Seacht Inion and St. Caomhan (St.Kevin’s) Church, the latter is a spectacular ruin, located in the graveyard on Inis Oirr. Over the years, sand has been blown in and around the church to make it appear as if it has sunk into the ground. Recent History – The Plassey Shipwreck is a famous landmark on Inis Oirr, she wrecked here in March 1960. Read more about in in our Blog. Arts Centre – Aras Eanna is the only Arts Centre in the Gaeltacht. Throughout the year therare exhibitions and workshops hosted here. Participants arriving after the tour departure time risk forfeiture of their tour seats.
If you would like to reschedule your reservation you may do so at any time.
If you cancel your reservation at least 48 hours prior to the tour start time and would like a refund we will issue a refund less a 10% processing fee.
No Refund will be issued for a reservation cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
We reserve the right to cancel any tour for weather or other reasons. If the tour is cancelled, and you are unable to make any of the rescheduled tours, we will issue a full refund for the cancelled tour.
If the weather is questionable, please call one hour prior to the start time to confirm the tour status.
On the day of your tour, bring your printed voucher(s) and photo identification to the tour departure location. Trailer carriages, trailer tandems, and child seats available for children at the child rate. Tours may be cancelled if the weather makes for dangerous riding conditions. If we are unable to reschedule the tour, we will issue a full credit or refund.
