A beautiful and interesting day tour from Salou that will take take you away from the coast onto a scenic route right through the beautiful interior of Catalonia with olive groves and vineyards. The first stop is at the Monastery of Poblet, which is still inhabited by monks that live in almost total seclusion. Poblet is therefore the main example of the famous strict Cistercian order. Poblet is not only a monastery but also a military fort, a palace, a pantheon and famous for its high artistic value. It is therefore quite logical that it´s been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1991. After visiting the monastery, we´ll drive on to the medieval village of Mont Blanc, famous for its annual knights Festival and where George, alledgedly fought with the dragon!  The walls surrounding Montblanc are one of the best preserved in Catalonia. Here, you´ll have the opportunity to have a nice little walk around and take your seat on one of the terraces for a drink or lunch (optional).  We´ll end the day with a visit to a local wine cellar. Your guide will tell you everything you need to know about making wine, from picking the grapes to bottling the bottles. And of course, we´ll also offer you a little glass to taste it all yourselves. The boat departs from the old port of Fira and heads towards the volcanic island of Nea Kameni, which lies just 10 minutes away from the bay of Fira. The boat will remain there for 1 hour 15 mins. This gives you plenty of time to walk up to the volcano’s active craters and take photos- it takes about 20 mins. It is worth reaching the top to experience the smoke evaporating and the sulfur's intense smell, when you scratch the volcano’s surface. The next stop is the island of Palaia Kameni where the Hot Springs are located. The boat anchors a few meters outside the small bay of Agios Nikolaos, it lowers down a ladder in the water and you will have 30 mins for a revitalising swim! You can swim a distance of about 30 meters into the famous mud baths of Palaia Kameni which are believed to have beneficial abilities for skin and other diseases. The water temperature is 30-35 degrees Celsius, but it is constantly mixed with sea water. The island of Thirassia is the next destination of your sailing tour, where you will have 2 hours free time to swim in the crystal waters of Korfos or to taste the local dishes in one of the traditional taverns.You can walk or take a donkey ride to the nearby picturesque village of Manolas with its narrow streets - the view from there to Santorini is definitely worth a visit.  The journey reaches its peak at Oia. During the boat ride to the port of Oia, you will experience sailing near the volcanic cliffs for a chance to capture with your camera the unique landscape. At the port, you will disembark and you will go up the 275 steps or ride a donkey to meet your bus that will take you to the village of Oia. There you will have free time to walk through the narrow streets, take pictures of the mesmerizing scenery and watch the famous sunset. Right after the sunset the bus will take you back to Fira Central Square. You should bring with you: Comfortable shoes (sport shoes/rubber sole) Light summer clothes (shorts/T-shirts) Sunblock cream and hat  Bathing suit and towel A jacket for the evening (it gets breezy) Cash for the entrance fees to the volcano, the drinks on board and the cable car or donkey ride

Make your way out past the iconic Mitre Peak and cruise the length of the fiord while our skipper highlights points of interest along the way, including the mighty Bowen Falls, Lion Mountain, Copper Point, Seal Rock and Stirling Falls. Keep an eye out for wildlife that can be found in the region including seals, pods of dolphins and the rare Fiordland Crested Penguin (seasonal). Complete your journey with a birds-eye view of the largely untouched region as you fly back over the Southern Alps and are welcomed to the incredibly blue Lake Wakatipu upon landing in Queenstown.
