There are keeper talks and feeding times so you can learn more about the animals, get a closer look and your questions answered.
You can also feed the friendly Kangaroos and pose for photos with them in the Kangaroo exhibit.
Eating and smoking, as well as acting in a loud manner are forbidden at the site.
The maximum size of backpacks or handbags brought into the Museum cannot exceed dimensions: 30x20x10 cm. Larger bags Taking photos in the buildings with the use of flash is forbidden. You are allowed to take photos only in selected parts of the Museum.

The first stop is Holy Island, connected to the mainland by a causeway which leads into the quaint island village of Lindisfarne, where there are stunning views of Lindisfarne Castle* (dating back to 1550). Spend time wandering through the ruins of its Priory* where the magnificent Lindisfarne Gospels were produced, sample some of the world-famous Lindisfarne ‘Mead’ brewed by Monks on the island, and enjoy the tranquility for which the island is renowned.
Then continue south by the pretty coastal village of Bamburgh, “Ancient Capital of Northumbria,” overlooked by its imposing castle, then on to the bustling market town of Alnwick, whose greatest building is the medieval Alnwick Castle*. Enjoy time in the town centre or visit the castle complex where there is something for everyone. Home of the Percy Family for over 700 years, Alnwick Castle is considered one of the finest castles in England and is proudly known as “The Windsor of the North”. Visitors can step into the unexpected in the spectacular Alnwick Garden* with its Grand Cascade fountain and Poison Gardens. The castle grounds were also used in the Harry Potter films. In the mid-afternoon we begin the drive north to cross the River Tweed and back into Scotland at the historic border town of Coldstream. If time permits during this journey there will be a stop at Flodden Field, one of the best preserved battlefields in Northern Europe and scene of the infamous battle of 1513, which ended in victory for the English and the death of James IV, King of Scots.

A beautiful and interesting day tour from Salou that will take take you away from the coast onto a scenic route right through the beautiful interior of Catalonia with olive groves and vineyards. The first stop is at the Monastery of Poblet, which is still inhabited by monks that live in almost total seclusion. Poblet is therefore the main example of the famous strict Cistercian order. Poblet is not only a monastery but also a military fort, a palace, a pantheon and famous for its high artistic value. It is therefore quite logical that it´s been placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1991.
After visiting the monastery, we´ll drive on to the medieval village of Mont Blanc, famous for its annual knights Festival and where George, alledgedly fought with the dragon!
The walls surrounding Montblanc are one of the best preserved in Catalonia. Here, you´ll have the opportunity to have a nice little walk around and take your seat on one of the terraces for a drink or lunch (optional). We´ll end the day with a visit to a local wine cellar. Your guide will tell you everything you need to know about making wine, from picking the grapes to bottling the bottles. And of course, we´ll also offer you a little glass to taste it all yourselves.
