It is known for having no roads or cars and it's charming canals, quaint wooden bridges and picturesque farmhouses with centuries-old thatched roofs give it a unique fairy-tale feeling. Enjoy the peace and quiet and see a different part of the Netherlands.    

Your Hot Air Balloon adventure begins when you meet your Pilot and Flight Crew. The flights meet approximately a 1/2 hour before sunrise. At the launch site, your flight crew will brief you on your upcoming balloon adventure. Then, you will watch with awe as your balloon takes shape before your eyes, ultimately standing more than 10 stories tall. Once fully inflated and ready for take off, you climb into the gondola and begin the adventure of a lifetime. During your flight you will get a spectacular bird's eye view of the gorgeous Red Rock Mountains and the famous Las Vegas Strip. You will drift silently over the Vegas Valley with 360 degree, unobstructed views of the world famous Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock Conservation Area and surrounding suburbs. After drifting serenely for approximately an hour you prepare for landing. Once on the ground, you will indulge in the oldest of ballooning traditions, a champagne toast, and revel in the peace, tranquility and beauty that you never before knew existed. For ballooning light winds are required, good visibility and no precipitation. You will fly at approximately 1000 feet. The flights are approximately one hour in length, however you are required you for up to 4 hours in total for the entire adventure. Since you will fly with the prevailing winds, the flight patterns and landing sites vary due to the changing wind directions. There is very little feeling of movement or sensation of height. Due to insurance restrictions Vegas Balloon Rides cannot accept passengers under the age of 10, women who are / or may be pregnant, or those with heart, back or knee problems. Should your flight be canceled by Vegas Balloon Rides due to inclement weather conditions, you simply will need to call the office on the number provided on the voucher and reschedule your flight.

This is a premier learning experience in the Everglades Area and is superb for the entire family... from toddlers to the grandparents. Every day is different in the Everglades 10,000 Islands so we try to be very flexible and dynamic. The tour may/will include a bit of birding, some photography, strolling thru tidal pools on a remote beach, exploration of one of the 10,000 Islands. The first part of the experience is a guided boating eco tour in search of dolphins, manatees and other wildlife. The second part is a hands on: interpretive, guided walk on a remote barrier island to explore the beaches, tidal pools and inter-tidal zones. We'll leave the hotel at around 09:30 and head for the fascinating Tzotzil Maya settlement of San Juan Chamula, famous for its unique religious practices blending Catholic and Maya beliefs. During our tour, we'll learn about the culture and traditions of this remarkable community. We visit first their atmospheric cemetery with its Maya crosses spread out across a hill. And from there we'll wander through the village to the main church of the community. Our next stop, San Lorenzo Zinacatan, is another Tzotzil-speaking community. This is one of the most colourful communities in the highlands, and this can be seen in the brilliant red, blue and purple clothing embroidered with large flowers worn by the local people. We'll visit the main church of the community and we'll also meet local people with the chance to buy some of their beautiful work. hen on the way back we we will go on a guided tour of the beautiful colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas before arriving back at our hotel at around 14:30.

Upon takeoff enjoy full panoramic views of the Sydney skyline, Pacific Ocean and the historic Port Botany. Within 5 minutes your professional pilot will have you over the beautiful Sydney Harbour flying past icons such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House before heading West following the Parramatta River until you reach the Blue Mountains National Park, where your pilot will land at Katoomba Airfield in the heart of the bush.
