The tour starts with a visit to the delightful villages of Volendam, Zaanse Schans, Marken, and Edam and enjoy a cheese-tasting and a a demonstration of traditional clog-making! From there you will continue to visit an authentic and typical Dutch wooden windmill, followed up by a cruise on the  waters of the lake IJsselmeer to the picturesque village of Volendam. The Tour guide will take you trough the historic old city center of Brussels and you will get to see the famous statue Mannekepis, the headquarters of the European Union, and the distinguished Royal Palace.  Be amazed at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, one of the ten largest cathedrals in the world and enjoy the guided walking tour around the 16th century Market Square. You will get a demonstration by a chocolatier along the way and you can indugle in some delicious Belgian chocolate. There will also be time to explore on your own, enjoy shopping and try the famous waffles or take some chocolate home as a souvenir.

Athens half day tour begins with a panoramic drive around Syntagma square, passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arch, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Catholic Cathedral,and Schliemann’s House. You will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Your licensed guide will explain more of Athens’s history old and new as you look at these stately buildings. Continue for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is the only stadium built out of white marble. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus. Make your way to the archaeological site of Acropolis an UNESCO’S world heritage monument and visit Propylae the monumental entrance to the Acropolis which blends Doric and Ionic building principles, and the small temple Athena Nike, which stands on a protruding mass of rock, protecting the gate to the citade and of course the Parthenon, and Erechtheion with its porch of Maidens. With this half day tour you will enjoy one of the top UNESCO'S world heritage monuments, Acropolis.  

We'll leave the hotel at around 09:30 and head for the fascinating Tzotzil Maya settlement of San Juan Chamula, famous for its unique religious practices blending Catholic and Maya beliefs. During our tour, we'll learn about the culture and traditions of this remarkable community. We visit first their atmospheric cemetery with its Maya crosses spread out across a hill. And from there we'll wander through the village to the main church of the community. Our next stop, San Lorenzo Zinacatan, is another Tzotzil-speaking community. This is one of the most colourful communities in the highlands, and this can be seen in the brilliant red, blue and purple clothing embroidered with large flowers worn by the local people. We'll visit the main church of the community and we'll also meet local people with the chance to buy some of their beautiful work. hen on the way back we we will go on a guided tour of the beautiful colonial city of San Cristobal de las Casas before arriving back at our hotel at around 14:30.
