The looming mountain of Tibidabo is visible from nearly the entire city of Barcelona. Reaching nearly 1700 feet high, Tibidabo Mountain Barcelona is the tallest peak of the Serra de Collserola. Besides being quite the sight from within Barcelona, this mountain is also a popular place for travelers to visit who are seeking sweeping views of the city and coastline. Another attraction on the mountain is the Tibidabo Amusement Park. Built in 1889, this amusement park has the feeling of stepping back in time. If you’re tired of visiting the cathedrals and museums of Barcelona, escape the bustle of the city for an adventure up Tibidabo. The Tibidabo Amusement Park is a delight for families, couples, and groups. Over the years, the park has retained many of its original rides, many dating from the early twentieth century. On 6 levels you will find different attractions including: roller coaster, log flume, bumper cars, carousel, etc. There is a 4D cinema in 'Dididado' for the little ones and a 'horror house' for the older children. This show is not for the faint hearted and although in Spanish it is scary fun! On a hot sunny day you will enjoy a great day on top of the world at Tibidabo Amusement Park. Good old fashioned fun and an adventure to get there! Getting to the rides at the top of Tibidabo Mountain Barcelona is half the fun of this amusement park. One of the ways to reach the park is the Tibidabo tram called Tramvia Blau. This tram was first built in 1901, and both kids and adults alike will love its historic charm. The tram brings visitors halfway up the mountain. To continue on to the amusement park, it is necessary to climb aboard the funicular. A ride on the funicular will reveal spectacular views of Barcelona and the chance to the visit the church at the very summit of the mountain. Maybe it's not the easiest way to go to Tibidabo, but sure it's the most charming!

Enjoy a full day tour taking in some of the most dramatic scenery of the Scottish Highlands. Visit Glencoe and have the chance to enjoy a cruise on Loch Ness and a visit to Urquhart Castle.  From Glasgow you will travel north before making a refreshment stop on the shores of Loch Lomond. Travelling the length of the loch, you will climb up into the Highlands, over the unique, dramatic landscape of Rannoch Moor and the Black Mount to majestic Glencoe, one of Scotland’s most haunting glens, site of the 1692 massacre of the MacDonald clan.  Continuing via Loch Linnhe, you'll stop in the Fort William area for lunch, then journey onwards, passing beneath Britain’s highest mountain, Ben Nevis, before you enter the natural beauty of the Great Glen. Travelling on, you can admire the Caledonian Canal and the pretty village of Fort Augustus, enjoying spectacular views of Loch Ness as you drive along the shoreline to Urquhart Castle.  Loch Ness, 24 miles long and 700 feet deep, is most famous for sightings of the Loch Ness Monster, affectionately known as “Nessie”. You will spend 2 hours at Loch Ness, where you can choose to explore the ruins of Urquhart Castle* and learn of its history inside the modern visitor centre, and also take an Award Winning Jacobite cruise* across the loch.  Passing through Inverness, Capital of the Highlands, you will start your return journey home. Cross the Grampian Mountains and the woodland scenery of Perthshire, including the Forest of Atholl, with an evening refreshment stop at the Victorian resort town of Pitlochry, en route back to Glasgow.  *OPTIONAL EXTRA. What about Children’s ages? Please note, the full day excursion covers 35 km. For this reason we have put a minimum age restriction of 10yrs old. Through our experience we found that the day was just too long for the under 10's and therefore the half day excursion would be more appropriate for children under 10. Please provide the exact age of your children at the last step of the booking. It's required to arrange the right bikes.
