Signs in foreign languages, traditional snack shops, and ethnic markets line these neighborhood streets, making each visit an epic adventure you won't be forgetting in a hurry! To kick off this LA food tour, you'll learn how these enclaves came about, what makes them unique, and where to find some of the city’s best and most hidden ethnic cuisine. We’ll enjoy unique and delicious tastings in markets, restaurants, bakeries, and hole-in-the-wall eateries, making sure to include a variety of both sweet and savory ethnic LA food. Kennedy’s assassination site to Korean karaoke bars, and Thai spirit houses, this cultural Los Angeles tour introduces you to the city’s lesser-known and off-beat sectors, where you’re sure to discover many treasures and discover a different side to this legedary city. During the course of this LA food tour we’ll enjoy enough food for a whole meal, so please come with an appetite! Dress standard: We cover about 1.5 miles in total during our walk so we would recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes. Sunscreen, sun hat, and sunglasses are also encouraged. A warm layer of clothing may be necessary as evenings can be cool October through June.  

Bronx Tour You’ll start in Harlem, where you’ll see the famed Harlem Market, where up to 100 vendors from a wide range of African countries sell their wares. Then it’s across 125th Street and over into the Bronx, the fourth-largest Manhattan borough in terms of land area. Here, you’ll see the Grand Concourse, the elegant boulevard that lured millions to make their homes nearby, including Edgar Allan Poe. Next, you’ll head west to the famed new Yankee Stadium, opened at the beginning of the 2009 baseball season. ITINERARY: Day 1 (L): Pick up at hotel and drive to Mekong Delta. Enjoying 4 – hour boat trip and rowing boat trip in small canals to visit An Binh Island. Have a short walk around village, visit some local workshops, coconut factory and ancient house. Lunch served at a local garden. Continue boat trip to Vinh Long then drive to Can Tho. Free for night discovery in Can Tho. Day 2 (B/L): After breakfast at hotel, take a motor boat to visit Cai Rang – the most fascinating floating market where we can see all trading activities in Mekong river. Continue to Ba Cong orchard garden, walk around to see the colorful local life, visit Muni Rangsay pagoda. Before back to Sai Gon, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda which is one of Vietnam popular destinations. Lunch served on the way back to HCM. We recommend that you arrive at least 10 - 15 minutes prior to the tour time, to enable tickets to be checked. There is also a small museum collection and gift shop on site which you may want to explore.  

Everyone remembers where they were on September 11, 2001. An event that shook the world, the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center changed the path of recent history in a way we still see every day. Visit Ground Zero to gain a deeper understanding of 9/11, the affect it had on the city (and the world!) and the long struggle undergone in New York City to move forward from that day.  With an expert local guide, you’ll explore not just the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, but the areas and landmarks around the World Trade Center that featured so poignantly in news reports after the attacks. Traveling in small groups, you’ll visit St. Paul’s Chapel, where friends and families gathered to hear news of their loved ones, and where handmade prayers and memorials still lie.  At Brookfield Place (previously known as the World Financial Center) you’ll learn about the economic effects of the attack and the struggle to rebuild afterwards. You’ll visit the Eleven Tears Memorial, a touching and personal memorial, which commemorates the 11 American Express employees that died in 9/11. The Winter Garden is another must-see on Vesey Street. You may have missed it on your own, but with a local guide leading the way, you won’t miss a beat.  After that we’ll head for Ground Zero, to see the stunning 9/11 Memorial Pools, each one built in the footprint of one of the twin towers, and inscribed with the names of all those who perished in the attack. Your guide will take this time to give you a more personal account of the tragedy that unfolded here, taking you to the Fireman’s Memorial and the Survivor Tree to tell you the incredible stories of courage and loss that unfolded right where you stand.  The last stop on our tour is one we’ll let you manage on your own. The 9/11 Museum is a very well curated space, with artifacts salvaged from the event on display, alongside countless personal stories. It’s a very moving visit, best taken in at your own pace in silence. We still have one last perk though – we’ve pre-reserved your museum tickets, so you’ll skip long lines to gain immediate access.
