Multi award winning Ocean Rafting visits the “Wild Side” of the Whitsunday Islands, the uninhabited islands with beautiful natural scenery brimming with marine, bird and animal life. There are two exciting tour options, the Northern Exposure and Southern Lights. Each Ocean Rafting day offers three days in one, including an exhilarating ride to Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, pristine snorkelling reefs and guided Whitsunday Island National Parks walks. Ocean Rafting offers the ultimate access to the stunning and iconic Hill Inlet beach and special snorkel sites at Hook Island and Border Island ensure a memorable underwater experience. The semi rigid inflatable vessels are super fast allowing guests to experience a fun ride, adventure and education amongst the natural beauty of the Whitsundays. 32 passengers at most allows for personal snorkelling lessons and the pleasure of a small group. A buffet style lunch is served at the beach with plenty of time to swim in the turquoise ocean or just relax on the silica white sand. Ocean Rafting has been operating since 1997 and is proud to have special permits allowing its vessels to visit protected areas in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The Skipper and Eco Host will ensure guests have a fun filled adventure and personalised service with snorkel lessons and a guided National Park walk in the Whitsunday Islands. Tours depart from Abell Point Marina North and courtesy coach pickups are included.

Please note: The River Ouse in York can occasionally rise to levels that can have an impact on this cruise's daily operations after periods of heavy rainfall in the catchment area upstream. The local operators will always attempt to sail for as long as it is safe to do so. There can come a point where their smallest boat can no longer fit underneath the bridges. Depending on the height of the river, they may not be able to sail at all. In this instance, you will either be eligible for a full refund or your ticket(s) will happily accepted on another date during your stay if sailing is possible.

In these waters you also have a good chance of catching sight of whales and dolphins that may suddenly jump up out the waters around you!  Enjoy the view from the sun deck, relax and top up your tan. Our friendly and experienced crew will find the perfect place to drop anchor while you go for a swim, have a banana ride, snorkel or just relax and soak up the sun.Everything is onboard to have a good time, all you have to do is turn up! Enjoy breakfast with pastries and juice and then tuck into a tasty barbecue with unlimited wine, beer, soft drinks and water. Unfortunately children under the age of 4 are not permitted on this excursion. Have a great day out at sea on an ocean going yacht. Driven by an expert captain, the boat speeds, spins and splashes, so be prepared to have fun and get wet while enjoying views of Portugal’s scenic southern coastline. As the Jet boat takes off from the harbor, grab the safety bar in front of you and hold on — your captain is about to take you on a wild ride. Do 360-degree spins, power breaks and slides, generating waves that splash around you. It’s all part of the fun, so wear clothes that can get wet. At slower speeds, have a look at the beauty of the Algarve coast, one of the most attractive destinations in Portugal. After all the excitement, we will return to the marina of Albufeira.
