Magna-Tech Liner LS2 use a small magnet to hold the neck roll securely in place while riding. Emergency Release System The LS2 emergency release system allows emergency responders to remove the cheek pads from the helmet, allowing extra space to remove the helmet with minimal movement of a fallen rider s head and neck. It is best to have someone hold the helmet to keep it from moving as you remove the pads. Slide your finger into the red loop and pull carefully, slipping the pads free. Slide the cheek pads over the straps and pull them away from the helmet. Metal Security Plate This small metal triangle is an LS2 exclusive feature and reinforces the attachment of our chinstraps to the shell for extra strength. Reflective Safety Patch To increase rider safety at night or in low visibility conditions the neck roll has a reflective safety patch that glows in the light of other vehicle s headlights.

Variable Axis System (VAS) With VAS, the visor mounting position is lowered, yielding an average of an additional 24mm across both temple areas, in pursuit of the ideal smoother shape that increases the ability of glancing off energy. Ventilation: Free Flow System (FFS) Creates airflow under the helmet that reduces wind noise and turbulence while increasing the exhaust of hot air. Front Ventilation: Center top vent The new Top Vent provides 11% more airflow than the previous Vent. The new bigger switch makes opening and closing easier. The new Top Vent has three positions, closed, half open and fully open to adjust the airflow and prevent water intrusion when fully closed. Front Ventilation: Standard brow vents Fresh air can enter directly to the forehead area without the need for holes in this critical area of the shell and impact absorbing liner.
