Explore the magic, beauty and wonder of San Francisco Bay at Aquarium of the Bay.  Your visit will take you through three main exhibit areas that display the amazing riches that lie beneath the surface of the San Francisco Bay and surrounding waters.  Aquarium of the Bay partners with The Bay Institute to protect, restore and inspire the conservation of San Francisco Bay and its watershed, from the Sierra to the sea. Their passion and their work are locally-focused, but have a broad impact that touches upon every major challenge facing our global environment. They focus on water, beginning at the heart—the very depths—of San Francisco Bay.  The facility boasts 300 feet of crystal clear acrylic tunnels holding 700,000 gallons of carefully maintained bay water that sustains approximately 20,000 animals, from octopuses to eight-foot native, sevengill sharks.  Visitors are also treated to mesmerising walls of jellies and a chance to touch bat rays, skates and “splash zone" animals. In their fifteen year history, over seven million guests, including more than 100,000 school children, have visited the Aquarium.   Anyone yearning to geek out inside a multimillion-dollar science museum with the added bonus of booze should head to Golden Gate Park on Thursdays for Nightlife at the California Academy of Sciences. Since 2009, the Academy has stayed open late once a week to give the 21+ crowd full run of the place, with an ever-changing series of themed events and several temporary bars spread throughout the gigantic building. Entertainment / Music Multiple DJs and/or live bands performing in a variety of styles tied to the night’s theme, from house to swing to everything else under the sun. One hundred thousand square-foot museum packed with incredible exhibits, aquariums, a replica of a rain forest, and the largest all-digital projection screen on the planet in the planetarium. This guided tour will explain every detail about the history of Barcelona from Roman times to the medieval period while you walk through the Gothic Quarter, which has a charm all of its own with its narrow, cobbled streets, wrought-iron street lamps and buildings that comprise hidden corners you can lose yourself in. The walk begins in the plaça Sant Jaume, the seat of the local government during the Middle Ages and at the present time. Next, you'll explore the narrow streets leading to the Barcelona Cathedral, built in different artistic styles, next to the important surviving sections of the Roman walls. To end the tour, close to the Cathedral, the plaça del Rei, a unique site and the historic centre of power during the reign of the Catalan counts and monarchs. Beneath the square lie the remains of the Roman city of Barcino and the remains of the medieval city (Saló del Tinell, Capella de Santa Àgata or Mirador del Rei Martí), above it.  A route that will make you feel you have travelled back in time when you get home.               

Come experience Sawgrass' newest attraction, The Red Eye Tour! The Red Eye Tour is similar to our Gator Nights experience only it is available every night and reserved for your group only. Your group will board one of our powerful airboats deep in the night to seek out Florida's legendary reptile, the American Alligator. Sneak through the Everglades as you experience the thrill of the abundant wildlife and explore the sights and sounds of nocturnal giants.  Discover the mysteries of this rich river when you and your group search for the telltale red glow from the eyes of these amazing predators. Slide over the sawgrass and cattails at an excess of 35 miles per hour! Note: All airboat ticket purchases automatically include entrance into our exhibit areas! Shows are included in all of the Exhibit Areas! Reptile Exhibit: Our reptile exhibit features dozens of species, both native and exotic to Florida.  Along with our friendly turtles and iguanas, you can learn about Cannibal, our 1000 pound alligator. Our handlers are happy to demonstrate how these animals live and survive in the wild.  We also have a variety of monitors and rescued exotic snakes.  Be sure to bring your camera, so you can capture the excitement of you cradling one of these majestic animals with our "Hold a Baby Alligator" experience!  Glades Exhibit: Start off by spending a few leisurely minutes enjoying the "Our Everglades Story" video presentation. This video touches on the history of the Glades and some current subjects of importance to its conservation efforts.  Exotic Wildlife Exhibit: A separate organization that brings a variety of animals to the park each day to visit. They strive to educate and enlighten the public about endangered species like the Florida Panther. Mammals in their care are adopted and rescued from facilities who lose their licensing or individuals who possessed the animal illegally. Playful critters abound and amaze as you get up close and personal with many different animals that often include panthers, leopards, caracal's, a bobcat and even some surprise smaller mammals each day.  Currently, they display Mia, a beautiful Florida panther, their black leopards, Damien and Jessie and a variety of other small mammals.  The handlers are passionate about the care of these gentle animals and are happy to answer any questions. Please note that the variety of animals on display may change from day to day and there is no guarantee of specific animals at any time. 

Over 200 works by iconic Dutch artist M.C. Escher Most of his most iconic and recognizable masterpieces, including Hand with Reflecting Sphere, Relativity, Belvedere, Eye, Metamorphisis, Day and Night, and Waterfall. Scientific experiments, play areas, and educational resources will help visitors of allages to understand the impossible perspectives, disquieting images, and seemingly irreconcilable universes which Escher combined to create a unique artistic dimension. Among these special installations will be massive photo booths constructed to emulate Escher's hypnotic environments. Visitors will be able to photograph themselves "inside" the worlds of M.C. EScher. The "Relativity Room" turns normal size and scale on it's head. The "Infinity Room" shows visitors their reflection repeated, semingly into infinity.
