Sightseeing Tour + Tower HOP-ON HOP-OFF TOUR STOPS People absolutely love our unique Hop On, Hop Off tour route.  We start out in Alamo Plaza and immediately give you the double decker view of the beautiful Alamo.  From there we head north towards the San Antonio Museum of Art, the Pearl Brewery Complex, and much more.  And of course you are free to get off and explore at any of our 18 stops.  If you do, just go back to where we dropped you off and wait for our next bus to arrive.  We typically have four double deckers operating so we get to each stop every 20 to 30 minutes.  Take a look at our route below and buy online or come see us in Alamo Plaza.  You will love it!  Our tour stops include: The Alamo Once home to Spanish Missionaries as Mission de Valero, it is the site of the Battle Of The Alamo in 1836. Augie’s BBQ Restaurant Great Texas BBQ in the heart of Downtown San Antonio Riverwalk/Museum Reach We stop at the Wyndham Garden Riverwalk Hotel where you can explore the beautiful Museum Reach section of the Riverwalk. Tobin Center Home to resident performing arts groups and major music and theatrical acts visiting San Antonio.  (Bus stop is directly in front of the El Tropicano Hotel) The Scottish Rite Cathedral Completed in 1924 at a cost of $1.5 million dollars.  A six story building in the style of a classic revival temple.  Serves as a meeting place for the Scottish Rite Masonry. Hipolito F. Garcia Federal Building Historic courthouse and post office located in Alamo Plaza.  (Bus stop across the street from the Emily Morgan Hotel) Buckhorn Saloon and Texas Ranger Museum An immersive Texas experience.  Explore the Museum’s Hall of Horns, and the Texas Ranger Museum and Ranger town. Riverwalk/River Cruise Ride One story above the river, visit St. Mary’s Catholic Church, the Majestic, Aztec and Empire Theaters.  Also a great location for guests of the Hotel Valencia, the Drury Inn and Drury Plaza, the Omni La Mansion Hotel and the Holiday Inn Riverwalk to hop on and hop off. San Fernando Cathedral/Spanish Governor’s Palace Founded in 1731 and is the oldest continuously functioning religious community in Texas.  The Spanish Governor’s Palace was constructed in the early 18th century as the “Presidio San Antonio de Bejar”.  It marked Spanish settlement under King Ferdinand VI. Market Square/El Mercado Visitors and residents alike visit El Mercado for authentic Mexican dining, music, and treasures.  Located in the “Zona Cultura”. King William Historic District The Blue Star Arts Complex, the Guenther House, the King William District, and Southtown.  An area know for it’s diverse community, art galleries, restaurants and Victorian era homes. Villa Finale Visitor Center Stop Tour the museum and gardens of preservationist Walter Mathis.  (Bus stop in front of the Friendly Spot) Yanaguana Garden Public art display and playground. Tower of the Americas/La Villita The 750 foot tall Tower of the Americas provides guests with the most spectacular view of the Alamo City.  Enjoy the gorgeous panorama view from the Tower’s Observation Deck and experience the thrilling 4D Theater Ride.  La Villita is the historic art village and one of San Antonio’s first neighborhoods. Zoo de Londres Territorio de los Tigres El Tiger Territory, hogar de los Tigres de Sumatra, una especie en grave peligro de extinción, está ahora abierta a los visitantes en el ZSL Zoo de Londres, donde una gran remodelación después de 186 años ha dado paso a un recinto de 2500 metros cuadrados. 1) We decided that we want to do the bike tour. How long in advance we should make a reservation? A) In order to secure your spot on the bike tour, we recommend making a reservation at least couple of days in advance (a week or more during the summer season). Don’t worry, you can always cancel, postpone, or reschedule your tour if there is a change in plan.   2) We booked our bike tour but the forecast shows rain for that day. What should we do? A) We are extremely flexible with all of our tours. If you have an availability to take the tour on another day, we will reschedule it, and if not we will issue a 100% refund (yes FULL refund). Unlike other companies, we do not charge cancelation fees, services taxes or any other fees, as long as you inform us at least a 24 hours prior to the tour. 3) We have just completed our reservation and paid for the tour. Where are we going to start the tour from? A) The bicycle tour will start from our bike store which is located 110 South St (One block from the South Street Seaport) New York, NY 10038.   4) I know how to ride a bike but I haven’t been on one for so long. Do you think I will be able to do it? A) No worries, the tour moves at a steady pace; this is not a race but a relaxing and enjoyable way to see the bridge. There will also be multiple stops during the tour to catch your breath.   5) Where are we going to finish the tour? Can we finish at a different location? A) All tours start and finish from the same spot. Unfortunately, we cannot finish the tour at a different location because you have to leave the bicycles at our store.   6) We know that we will like the tour and we want to do some biking after the tour. How can we arrange that? A) Visit our Bike Rental page to reserve your bikes so you can explore the city on your own. You can also talk with your tour guide after the tour and he will arrange for your wishes.   7) What kind of bicycles we will ride on the tour? A) All of our bikes are well-maintained and they are in excellent condition. For the tour, you will be riding a Biria series bike.
