Raintex DL Conventional systems absorb rainwater. The water strikes through the non-waterproof outer layer of the jacket and is then blocked by the membrane. Water is trapped between these two layers, so your coat gets soaked and feels clammy. The remaining water forms a film on the membrane, which is at the expense of the breathability.
