Facilities and Access Entrance and parking: The castle is reached on foot along a causeway from West Park slipway in St Helier. Visitors can either walk at low tide or catch the pirate-themed Castle Ferry (small charge applies) at high or low tide. Public parking is available in Patriotic Street, the Waterfront or in parking bays off Victoria Avenue. Buses and cycle routes: All bus routes terminate at Liberation Station which is a short walk away. TOUR DETAILS Similar to the Drive, Fly, Float tour, this excursion features a thrilling helicopter descent to the canyon floor. This tour allows more time to wander along the bottom of the canyon and take in the views from a unique vantage point.  After being picked up at your hotel, you’ll ride through the Mojave Desert in our unique Pink Adventure Tour Trekkervehicle. Enjoy the comfort of your own leather captain’s chair, with plenty of legroom and oversized windows for best views. The Mojave Desert is the only habitat in the world to feature Joshua Trees, so try to spot dense forests of them en route to the Grand Canyon. You’ll also see Lake Mead, a reservoir created by the Hoover Dam.  Upon arrival at the West Rim, you’ll climb aboard an ECO Star helicopter for a trip over the edge. Your ride features the latest innovations, like wraparound windows that showcase the canyon from every angle. Theater-style seats and air conditioning maximize comfort, while surround sound headsets and reduced-noise rotors make it easy to hear your personalized tour narration. Your finale comes at a private landing site 300 feet above the river for a rare, up-close look at the area. After your descent, stroll along the rim for photos and learning opportunities. Not for the faint-of-heart, the Skywalk is a transparent walkway that extends 70 feet past the rock rim and floats 4,000 feet above the canyon floor! You won’t regret stepping onto the glass after you see the vast expanse around you. Don’t miss the chance to have your picture taken by the designated photographer, as cameras and phones aren’t allowed. The Beast operates every hour on the hour from 10.00 - 18.00 out of Pier 83 at 42nd Street and 12th Avenue. Throughout the ride, the captain and crew keep the passengers excited with upbeat rock and roll music and New York-style humor. They’ll have the whole family laughing and screaming with rollercoaster-like twists and turns, pulsating music and a touch of comedy, squirting the kids just for fun. No food or drink is allowed on board.  Tour Length  Approximately 30 minutes. Please note that the Beast does not run when it’s raining.  The BEAST Speedboat is a thrill ride that zooms down the Hudson at up to 45 mph.  Screeches to a halt within 100 feet of the Statue of Liberty for photo ops. Panoramic views of midtown and lower Manhattan as you speed by.  Rockin’ soundtrack.  Fun, interactive BEAST Handlers (captain and crew).  Be aware - you may get wet! Due to the fast, bumpy, and extreme nature of the BEAST ride, you must observe the following Absolutely no pregnant women on board THE BEAST.  Absolutely no people with heart conditions, back injuries, or those susceptible to back injury! All passengers must stay seated while the boat is in motion. Keep your hands and head in the boat while docking. Hold on to hats and sunglasses, they may fly away when THE BEAST gets up to full speed. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items including: cameras, video cameras, cell phones, watches, glasses, or any other electronic devices. RULES AND REGULATIONS  All School & Camp Groups MUST be accompanied by at least 1 adult chaperone (18 years of age or older) for every 10 students/children. Running is not permitted anywhere in the attraction. Food and beverage can be purchased on site. Outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited with the exception of special dietary needs.
