Night Tour (NOT A HOP-ON HOP-OFF) The one hour Panoramic Night Tour of San Francisco begins in Fisherman’s Wharf and explores the most scenic neighborhoods; as the sunsets and the city begins to sparkle. See the ornate City Hall and the San Francisco Symphony Hall. The tour then climbs up the historic Nob Hill for a stunning close up view of the magnificent Grace Cathedral. Duration: 30 minutes   Operates: 9:00am –5:00pm   Frequency: 20-30 minutes / Departs stop from Stop 12   WALKING TOURS   Chinatown  Walking  Tour:  (Tour begins at Stop #6 - operates daily @ 10:00 & 14:00) Walk  through  the  world  famous  historic  neighborhood.  See  the magnificent Chinatown gates, the busy marketplace and the vibrant mix of historical and modern day culture.         Northbeach Walking Tour:  (Tour begins at Stop #3 - operates daily @ 16:00) This tour will take you on a journey through the eclectic Little  Italy district.  From Washington Square Park to  the incredible St. Peter & Paul Church, the tour will leave you  with a taste of the bohemian lifestyle that inspired so many of the artistically gifted San Franciscans of previous generations.   Barbary Coast  Walking  Tour: (Tour begins at Stop #4 - operates daily @ 12:00) Tour  takes  you  through  a  nine  block  radius  of  what  was  once  the  haunt  of  the low and vile.  Hear about San Francisco’s small beginnings, its boom-town  growth  because  of  the  California Gold  Rush  and  the  end  of  The  Barbary  Coast  due  to  the  Red  Light  Abatement  Act.  The  walk  will  take  you through the present Financial District and Jackson Square Historic District.   Fisherman’s Wharf Walking Tour:  (Tour begins at Stop #1 - operates daily @ 14:00) The Fisherman’s Wharf walking tour takes you all the main attractions of the  Wharf  area,  including  Ghirardelli  Square,  the  Cannery  and  Pier  39.  See  and  learn  about  the  famous  food and  restaurants  and  the  historic  ships  at Aquatic  Park.  This  walk  will  familiarize  you  with  role  the  wharf  has played  in  the  history  of  the  city—from the Gold rush, through the labor struggles of the 1930’s and the psychedelic explorations of the 1960’s.

This is the text for the Frequently Asked Questions that applies to this specific tour. (Q) Do tours run all year round? (A) Yes, from November to March we will run tours on a reduced schedule at 11am from Thursdays to Mondays, inclusive. Please see the tour page for full details. (Q) Where is the meeting point for the tour? (A) Directly outside Queensway tube station, which is on the central line (the red line cutting across the map from east to west). 15 minutes before the start of the tour, one of our guides will be standing by the red phone boxes holding a Fat Tyre sign. (Q) Is the tour difficult? (A) No. Most of the time is spent on bike lanes within the Royal Parks. There is a bit of road riding and a few crossings so a basic level of cycling proficiency is required. (Q) What happens if it rains? (A) We run tours rain or shine and have plenty of rain ponchos. We find tours in the rain to be a different kind of fun and an even more fun memory! If you have a reservation and the weather is really bad, you are welcome to reschedule the tour for any other day for up to year. (Q) Do we stop for lunch? (A) Yes. We usually stop near Trafalgar Square where there are plenty of options for lunch including to join your guide at a traditional English pub. Otherwise, we may stop in St James park next to a cafe. (Q) Where does the tour end? (A) Both tours finish at the same place they start. (Q) Do we go inside the sites? (A) No, the bike tours are an overview of the sites and more about getting a feel for the city. However, on private tours you can arrange to take extra time at the sites if you'd like to go inside. (Q) Will we be able to take photos? (A) Yes. There will be a chance to take many photos at the designated stops. (Q)Is there a space to store bags or luggage? (A)Yes. You are welcome to leave bags, luggage or unwanted family members in our garages. Someone is usually in the office and it will be locked up if they have to leave. While we have never had a single case of theft or loss of items, you do leave them at your own risk. (Q) Do you provide the bikes? (A) Absolutely. (Q) Can I supply my own bike? (A) You are welcome to bring your own bicycle. Our insurance only covers the theft of our own bicycles, so please do bring your own lock for the lunch stop. (Q) Can an adult ride on the tandem? (A) No. Our tandems are known as tag-alongs which attach to adult bikes and are designed for children up to about the age of five years old.. (Q) Are helmets provided? (A) Yes. You are not compelled by law to wear helmets in the UK, but we have more than enough for everyone so the choice is entirely yours.

Children under 7 years old, people over 120 kg weight and pregnants cannot participate in the interaction. It is imperative that you can swim. You will become the special guest of our sea lions for 25 minutes; a period of time in which you will be able to feel their fur and breath, touch them and feel them in the water and on land. Not even the best hosts will make you feel at home like they do. When you arrive, we shall have a wetsuit and life jacket ready for you which you shall use once you have gone through a decontamination process to prevent the access of germs to our family’s habitat. They’re dying to meet you! The activity begins with a short chat where the team will teach you how to stroke and greet our stars, which will welcome you with open arms. Don’t be afraid if you get the biggest kiss of your life; it will be quite an experience!
