Long Oval Fit The head is long front-to-back and is narrow side-to-side. This shape offers additional forehead room for those who find that most helmets have pressure points in the forehead. Venting 6 air intakes and 4 exhaust ports combined with deep channeling in the interior energy absorbing EPS foam keeps your head cool, reducing rider fatigue. Weight The Variant’s visor and extended chin bar addition adds minimal weight and is offset by the wind tunnel refined shell to produce minimal lift characteristics. Exterior The wind tunnel-refined shell, executed in a Fiberglass/Dyneema/Carbon matrix, forms a solid first line of defense. The Variant’s signature visor system not only looks aggressive, it contributes to improved vision by helping block out bright sunlight while producing minimal lift characteristics. Shield The fog free Precision Optics shield, coupled with a reshaped eyeport, increases peripheral vision and and produces an unmatched distortion free line of sight so you can keep your eyes on the prize. Interior The Variant’s neck roll is incorporated into the removable, sweat wicking Hydradry™ liner for a contoured fit that cradles your noggin and aids in the reduction of wind noise.
