Travel through Mojave Desert past Joshua Tree Forest to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon At Grand Canyon West Rim Terminal. Clients board helicopter for a descent to the canyon floor. (5-8 minutes each way) Take a hike to the base of the river to board a pontoon boat. Enjoy a one-mile float trip on the Colorado River (Approx 15-20 minutes) Clients are returned to the rim by helicopter and will board a motor coach for stops along rim See an old western town at the Hualapai Ranch and watch gunfights and participate in cowboy activities Walk along the rim starting at Eagle Point. Enjoy the eagle-like rock formation, views of the Skywalk, Indian Cultural Village & other points of interest Nearly 360-degree views of the Grand Canyon from any spot at Guano Point with plenty opportunities of photo taking. Comience el tour desde la oficina de Julia Travel, donde tomarán el autobús y se dirigirán a la Plaza de Oriente, luego llegaremos al Templo de Debod, donde se detendrán para a caminar y tomar algunas fotos acompañados por el guía. Después de esta visita se dirigirán en autobús hacia la Plaza Mayor, donde se hace una nueva parada y para visitar la Plaza de Villa y la Puerta del Sol. El tour sigue hacia la Calle Carrera de San Jerónimo, Las Cortes, Plaza de Neptuno, Paseo del Prado (Museos Thyssen, Prado y Reina Sofía), Atocha, el señorial Parque del Retiro, Plaza de Cibeles, Calle Alcalá, Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas donde se hará la última parada. Final del tour en el estadio Santiago Bernabéu. Se realizarán paradas en la Plaza Mayor, el Templo de Debod y en la Plaza de Toros para pasear y tomar fotos, siempre que el tiempo lo permita y en compañía del guía. Tenga en cuenta que el itinerario está sujeto a cambios debido a los eventos que se celebrarán en la ciudad (demostraciones, eventos deportivos, eventos culturales, actos oficiales y obras públicas). El edificio que hoy sirve de sede al Museo Nacional del Prado fue diseñado por el arquitecto Juan de Villanueva en 1785, como Gabinete de Ciencias Naturales, por orden de Carlos III. No obstante, el destino final de esta construcción no estaría claro hasta que su nieto Fernando VII, impulsado por su esposa la reina María Isabel de Braganza, tomó la decisión de destinar este edificio a la creación de un Real Museo de Pinturas y Esculturas. El Museo Nacional del Prado, abrió por primera vez al público en 1819. El primer catálogo constaba de 311 pinturas, aunque para entonces en el Museo se guardaban ya 1510 obras procedentes de los Reales Sitios. Las valiosísimas Colecciones Reales, germen de la colección del actual Museo del Prado, comenzaron a tomar forma en el siglo XVI bajo los auspicios del emperador Carlos V y fueron sucesivamente enriquecidas por todos los monarcas que le sucedieron, tanto Austrias como Borbones. A ellos se deben los tesoros más emblemáticos que se pueden contemplar hoy en el Prado, tales como El jardín de las Delicias de El Bosco, El caballero de la mano en el pecho de El Greco, Las Meninas de Velázquez o La familia de Carlos IV de Goya. La visita se realizará en orden cronológico, comenzando con la sala donde se exhiben las obras maestras de J. Bosch (El Bosco) (1450-1516): La mesa de los 7 pecados capitales, El carro de heno, Las tentaciones de San Antonio, La piedra de la locura y El jardín de las Delicias, para proseguir con las salas dedicadas a El Greco (1540-1614): El caballero de la mano en el pecho, La trinidad, El Cristo abrazado a la cruz y La anunciación. Velázquez (1599-1660): La adoración, Los borrachos, retratos ecuestres, La fragua de Vulcano, el Cristo, Las hilanderas, Las lanzas y Las meninas, finalizando con Goya (1746-1828): la familia de Carlos IV, los retratos, Los fusilamientos del 2 de Mayo, las majas y las pinturas negras.

Undiscovered Worlds -  WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER Until very recently, the only planets known to us were the familiar worlds in orbit around our Sun. In the last two decades we have confirmed more than 1500 new planets, called exoplanets, orbiting other stars; thousands more are awaiting study. Undiscovered Worlds tells the tale surrounding this explosion of discovery and examines what will be required to determine which, if any, of these new exoplanets can support life. Voice your opinion about Pluto alongside skeptics and space enthusiasts through an interactive voting poll in real time. Explore artifacts from the Adler collections that illustrate the ever-evolving definition of a planet. This temporary exhibition, which is included with general admission, will be open to the public from March 19, 2016 through January 8, 2017. Mission Moon -  WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER Mission Moon invites you to experience America’s first steps into space through the eyes of NASA’s Captain James A. Lovell Jr. and his family. You’ll find out how the United States became the first nation to put a man on the Moon, what it’s really like to be an astronaut, and why it takes a team to explore uncharted worlds. Community Design Lab -  In the Community Design Lab (CDL), you can test different materials to find out which ones will survive the journey to 100,000 feet above the Earth’s surface. Your discoveries may find their way into a future flight with Far Horizons, the Adler’s high-altitude ballooning program! If you could photograph an object in space, what would it be, and who would you share it with? In the CDL, you can build a DIY telescope-mount for your smartphone and become an instant astrophotographer! Test it out on one of our ’scopes and share your photos on social media. Telescopes:  Through the Looking Glass -  WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER Astronomers have studied the cosmos for thousands of years, but until about 400 years ago, they did it without telescopes! In Telescopes: Through the Looking Glass, you’ll find extraordinary beauty and technology in some of the world’s most important telescopes and learn how these clever light-catching devices helped us discover our Universe. Clark Family Gallery  WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER This futuristic, constantly changing environment features a one-of-a-kind architecture with vibrant lighting and video presentations. It was created using approximately 13,000 linear feet of aluminum tubing and 20,000 square yards of fabric. The gallery also has 125 LED lights, each capable of producing sixteen million different colors and over two billion different lighting combinations. Astronomy in Culture -  WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER Go back in time and learn about some of the people and societies who have challenged themselves to understand our place in the Universe. This exhibition features spectacular astrolabes, armillary spheres, and sundials to illustrate the medieval European and Middle Eastern conception of the Universe. Visit our medieval classroom to find out how much different school was back then. Learn how to use early astronomy tools including astrolabes and sundials. Atwood Sphere -  WHAT YOU WILL DISCOVER Experience the night sky over Chicago as it appeared in 1913 in the Atwood Sphere – Chicago’s oldest planetarium. Although the star positions have not changed since then, we can see only a small percentage of these stars in our current night sky due to light pollution. The sphere is seventeen feet in diameter and has 692 holes drilled through its metal surface. These holes allow light to enter and show the positions of the brightest stars in the night sky. Take a live guided tour of the Atwood Sphere and identify stars and the constellations they form.  

Your Hot Air Balloon adventure begins when you meet your Pilot and Flight Crew. The flights meet approximately a 1/2 hour before sunrise. At the launch site, your flight crew will brief you on your upcoming balloon adventure. Then, you will watch with awe as your balloon takes shape before your eyes, ultimately standing more than 10 stories tall. Once fully inflated and ready for take off, you climb into the gondola and begin the adventure of a lifetime. During your flight you will get a spectacular bird's eye view of the gorgeous Red Rock Mountains and the famous Las Vegas Strip. You will drift silently over the Vegas Valley with 360 degree, unobstructed views of the world famous Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock Conservation Area and surrounding suburbs. After drifting serenely for approximately an hour you prepare for landing. Once on the ground, you will indulge in the oldest of ballooning traditions, a champagne toast, and revel in the peace, tranquility and beauty that you never before knew existed. For ballooning light winds are required, good visibility and no precipitation. You will fly at approximately 1000 feet. The flights are approximately one hour in length, however you are required you for up to 4 hours in total for the entire adventure. Since you will fly with the prevailing winds, the flight patterns and landing sites vary due to the changing wind directions. There is very little feeling of movement or sensation of height. Due to insurance restrictions Vegas Balloon Rides cannot accept passengers under the age of 10, women who are / or may be pregnant, or those with heart, back or knee problems. Should your flight be canceled by Vegas Balloon Rides due to inclement weather conditions, you simply will need to call the office on the number provided on the voucher and reschedule your flight.
