Inis Oirr Inis Oírr (traducido del Oirthir significa “Isla del Este”) –  es la isla más pequeña de las tres Islas Aran. Tamaño: 8 km2 Población: 290 habitantes aprox. La isla disfruta de un buen sector turístico, principalmente de Doolin, ya que está a solo 30 minutos en ferry desde la isla. Con el paso de los años, la arena ha ido envolviendo la iglesia por eso parece que esta se haya hundido en ella. Historia reciente – el naufragio de The Plassey – es un famoso hito de Inis Oírr, el navío naufragó en la costa de esta isla en 1960.
