Tiefes Purpurrot mit dunklem Kern, das Bouquet hebt sich, da ohne jedes Anzeichen von Eiche, sehr deutlich von den anderen grossen Penfolds-Premium Shiraz Grange, RWT, Magill Estate ab: zartsüsse Noten von dunkler Schokolade, Mokka und Weihnachtsplätzchen Zimt, Muskatnuss, getrocknete Feigen und Backpflaumen bilden den Hintergrund für eine pikante Aromenkomposition, die an frisch zerriebene schwarze Beeren und saftig-würzigen Bratenfond erinnert, butterweich mit der für St. Henri so charakteristischen seidenglatten Textur am Gaumen, dem Aromen von Waldbeeren Himbeeren , vereint mit feinstem Tannin. Passt zu: Rinderschmorbraten oder Wildgerichten Rehrücken, Hirschmedaillons, Wildschweinbraten, sahnigen Ragouts , zu Kurzgebratenem mit reduzierten Saucen oder auch zu einer saftigen Lammkeule mit vielen Kräutern.

As a working distillery, visitors must wear sensible footwear on the distillery tour (no high heels or open toed shoes permitted). Unfortunately, dogs (except assistance dogs) are not permitted in the visitor centre or distillery. Minimum drinking age 18 years.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.
